    Good morning kerri and Jeferey

Great news re the £20 win Jeferey, you can treat yourself to some nice pots for the patio. lol.

The weather is really changeable here too though yesterday we had some really heavy showers. Very confusing really as it can be sunny and you turn around and the sky has darkened and it starts to rain. Very wet for July. I want to put the bark down in the borders but far too wet to walk on the grass atm.

Had to go shopping yesterday and went to asda. It suiddenly started to rain very very heavily and the manager came over the loudspeaker to announce that as it was raining so heavily perhaps people should buy an umbrella before leaving the store and telling customers he has put them near customer service desk.

    Take care

    Good morning kerri and Jeferey

I have been in the wars. Stubbed my toe and broke it so now its all strapped up and I have to keep it raised as much as poss. Part of my foot is black and blue. Honestly the things people do to get out of doing the gardening/housework for a while. lol.

And the weather today is sunny and dry so think I might have to ask someone to put that flippin bark down in the borders for me.

OW! Sorry to hear about the toe CW - do make sure you rest it - preferably on a sun lounger in the garden with a glass of something cool and a good book. ;)

Sunny here today which is nice, done boot camp this morning, and got pole this evening - think i'll sleep well tonight :D

Tomatoes starting to flower nicely, might put a couple of the plants on Freecycle as they are being swamped by the bigger ones and need some tlc I think.

Glad to hear that new patio is getting good use jeferey

    Good morning guys

    Thanks kerri.
My foot is a nuisance more than anything, it only hurts when walking or standing for too long so it does limit what I can do.

My son did another garden panel yesterday and will finish it today, its the last one. Its being put where we didn;t have a panel before so he has had to make it from left over bits of fencing. Will ask him to put the bark down for me when he has finished.

Hope all your veggies/toms are flourishing guys

morning all, glad your fence is done CW

Busy weekend here, hair split yesterday morning then up to the Big Smoke to meet my DB and his GF on the Southbank to see Scotch & Soda at the Wonderground. Really fab (seen Limbo and Cantina in previous years) usually we end up going around Sept time so it was lovely to sit out after in the sun (albeit it was VERY hot). They had to get home for the little one but me and OH then had dinner before getting the train back home and a few drinkies before a taxi home.

Lazy start to the morning here but we have a festival to go to later too, busy weekend.

Weather turned here s bit, grey and temp has dropped, can't complain though.

Bit sad to see the old car go after over 9 years of ownership, it has served us well :)

    Good morning guys

Still limping around with my broken toe, it does hurt a bit when walking but can;t just sit there doing nothing. Its still quite bruised as well.

Hope you like your new car jeferey, shame you had to get rid of the old one but you might have had to spend a lot of repairs to keep it on the road.

Sounds like you had a lovely but busy weekend kerri, nice to meet up with family and have a good time.

I'm not surprised you're limping CW - you do have a broken toe, take it easy.

Good news on the car jeferey enjoy driving it

Well just about recovered from my busy weekend...who am I kidding, I'm shattered. :o Still dragged my sorry butt to boot camp this morning to work that Pimms off. Been grey and rainy here all evening. However I did harvest the first of my runner beans - yummy! plants look like they're going to flower again too which is good, wondered if I was just going to get those from it. Couple of pods seem to have been lost to aphids but I figure its ok to sacrifice a couple if it saves the rest. Toms all starting to flower too - there's hope in the garden yet :D
