They're really clever my worms! :rotfl:

A dry Sunday morning meant I could go to allotment on my bike and get some more early potatoes to boil for lunch as all parents came over.
In the afternoon me, DW and FD dodged the rain and went to allotment to get some rhubarb and pick our first load of strawberries. 1.1kgs were brought home but some may have been eaten while picking :p

Morning everyone, better day today :D

    Good morning Jeferey and kerri

The weather stayed dry yesterday and my dh and ds spent the whole day fixing fences, right until they ran out of nails anyway. So got to go to Homebase in a bit and get some more.

One of the fence panels was broken by a horse backing into it as he had an itchy bum and wanted to scratch it, he completely cracked the fence. Another one was broken by a cow trying to get in the garden to eat my plants.

We back onto a farm so the fences have to be quite secure.

Evening all, lovely warm day here today, for what I saw of it. Still its nice to be able to sit in the evening with the patio door open.

Runner beans are flowering nicely and brief attack of black fly seems to be abated (can't say the same for the elder tree though - eugh, those things give me the willies)

Tomatoes are coming along slowly, I'm sure they're not a patch on jefereys still :p

    Morning kerri and Jeferey

eugh thats the only problem with gardens, flipping creepies crawlies/slugs/snails/greenfly and weeds. You spend so much time, money and effort keeping them away and they come back when they want. Hope they leave your beans alone kerri.

Only 2 fence panels still to repair now, my ds did loads yesterday but we are due rain every day for the next 5 days at least so not sure when he can finish the work, then he needs to paint with cuprinol.

My toms are doing very well as you guessed Kerri, here's the left hand side of the greenhouse:

    Morning kerri and Jeferey

ues, Jeferey, rain for the next 5 days. It rained a bit yesterday but my ds managed to finish fixing the damaged fence panels and will cuprinol them when he gets a chance depending on the weather. Its pouring down today and grey skies and cold too. Call this flippin summer.

Your toms look about 3 or 4 foot tall, they are huge.

Stop showing off with those tomatoes jeferey :p Mine are still little but I think they might stay small - one plant looks like it's getting ready to flower and its not even a foot tall. They're cherry toms and the pack says average hight 60cm.... i think they might have the wrong sizing on there. Beans are going great guns, lots of flowers, first couple finished already so just need to grow some beans now.

Been tiling a row of tiles in the bathroom - well trying to stick them back on after I pulled them off last weekend. Not really enjoying it tbh, they were a pain to get stuck on yesterday, and a couple are not level in depth so I might pull those off and put some more adhesive on - although now I've run out so need to get some more  It's a this in-between stage of DIY I often wonder why I bothered in the first place.

Sunny and dry here today but quite windy, went out for a run this morning but only managed 5k...1/2 the distance I was hoping for. Back to it properly when my running partner is back from hols.

    Good morning kerri and Jeferey

diy is a nightmare kerri. I won;t be tackling my bathroom when I am ready to do it. Your a lot braver than me.

Today we have rain, again. (whats new) Plus a little bit of sunshine peeping through every now and then.
