Afternoon anyone around.

Very cloudy atm and been raining overnight, but its dry now so i have put my washing out. It better not rain till late afternoon after I have brought it in. lol.

My garden is looking quite nice, had unexpected visitors yesterday and they both said the garden is looking good. Good job we did it a couple of days ago.

I'm am but only briefly....off out to gym in a min. Lovely sunny day where CW, bit chilly this morning but soon warmed up. Took advantage of wfh and mowed the lawn in my lunch break as its due to rain tomorrow.

Beans growing ok - some bottom leaves a bit yellow but I think that's where they got nibbled. Need to get some more compost for my toms and plant those out soon. Also need to repot a lavender plant.

I'm back!
Had a great time, lovely weather and hotel.
New grass has grown well while we were away.
Tomatoes starting to come now in greenhouse.
Off to allotment in a bit to dig up some first early potatoes, yum

See I knew it welcome back Jeferey glad you had a good time, weather been mixed here, pelted it down some of yesterday and this morning out when I was running but dried up in the afternoon.

My tomatoes are hanging in there and growing, need to get them potted out soon I think as they're getting a little crowded in the little pots.

Nice to see we're apparently in for a heatwave from wed, thanks for bringing some sun back

Good morning guys


I heard about the heatwave kerri but first we have to contend with the gales that are coming. Checked the weather forecast and we are on a weather warning for severe gales starting this afternoon, warning of possible damage to trees etc. It looks nice and sunny atm so hard to believe gales are coming later.

We have had lots of rain so the grass has grown a lot. Need the weather to be nice as I want the fences painted, well, treated with cuprinol stuff anyway.

Great that you had a lovely holiday Jeferey but back to the allotment for you to get rid of all the weeds. lol.

Morning all, just a quick stop in. We're forecast for wet and windy weather later, though no weather warnings thankfully. It's lovely and sunny here too atm, I've got a wash in, my trainers desperately needed a wash as they got wet running yesterday and were a bit whiffy for boot camp this morning. Chucked in a cup of vinegar or good measure to hopefully sort it.

Hope it's warm / hot at the weekend as I have a 5k obstacle race coming up and it will be far more fun in the sun.

Jeferey those weeds are payback for showing off about your tomatoes just kidding, I'd love space for a raised bed or something in our garden but it would mean removing a lot of mature plants and I feel bad doing that.

I have one raised bed left in the garden as I lost two that had to go when I re-designed the garden. I've got some foxgloves at the back and some some carrots and spring onions at the front.
Spent a couple of hours at the allotment before the rain and then after lunch had a good session in the greenhouse rigging up some wire to trin the tomatoes up and they are bigger than their bamboo canes now (sorry Kerri!).

We have sunshine, yippee, lets hope we don;t get any more rain as my garden was flooded yesterday morning. Its still a bit windy for me though.

We have had far too much rain for my liking, the weeds love it and we have some dandelions on the lawn that need weedkiller on. Don;t want to walk on the lawn while is still a bit boggy.

kerri you need some of Jefereys "worm juice" for your tomatoes.

another lovely day today. 2 loads of washing dried outside yesterday, will do some more today. Is this it. Is this summer. Hope so as am so sick of all the rain we have had recently.

Lovely and sunny here today too, in fact my poor little toms have wilted in the heat - just given them a good drink and hopefully they'll perk up. Must move them to larger pots but need more compost.


Supposed to rain here tomorrow morning though - booo!


Jeferey, perhpas ypu can bring some worm juice when you come to drop off the rhubarb too
