    Morning kerri and Jeferey.

Ah Jeferey, the flowers called sweet peas. Lovely flowers all those shades of pink/white/purple they really are sweet. Also they grow quite easily and flower for ages as well.

Well it sunny today but very windy. Got some washing out again but put extra pegs on the towels, didn;t want them to blow into someone else's garden. lol.

Have a nice but windy weekend guys.

Afternoon all, sorry I haven't been around much for the past couple of days but I've been busy punting down canals on gondolas :D
Took my mum to Vencie for three nights and had a fabulous time. Even had a canal running past my hotel window. Weather wed and Thursday was gorgeous. Yesterday was warm but a bit showery. Had tea in St Mark's Square at Cafe Florian, fantastic.

Garden has really sprouted in the few days I've been away, my toms are coming along, although some plants look dif to the others, think there may be more than on variety there...or weeds :rotfl:

Wash out but lots of housework to do. The post-holiday joys,

Morning all, sorry I've not been around much either, busy, busy! Venice is lovely Kerri, we went there a few years ago when we were staying on a caravan site nearby. Loved the gondola ride - our chap even sang to us and gave us a bit of history of the place .

Finish work on Thursday for 17 days holiday and off to Turkey for a week on Saturday :j

The weather here is cold, grey, wet and miserable and I have to go out in it as need some shopping. Can;t escape the rain in the UK. lol.

    Good morning Jeferey and kerri.

rubbish weather indeed Jeferey, so far today we have had sunshine, rain, hailstones, cloudy sky. Oh, and wind. Just when is it summer ?

The only good thing about all this rain is it is washing my windows a bit. For some reason my windows have been poop bombed by birds and nearly every window (and the walls of the house/patio/garden/car etc) have been hit.

Same here today CW, oh and a bit of lightening throw in for good measure. My washing was doing the hokey cokey (in out in out) before I gave in, put the heating on and finished it on the radiators so I could get another load in tonight....speaking of which I must do that.

Looks like something has had a nibble of one of my runner plants too

Hopefully brighter for the rest of the week though.

    Hows the window drying out?

    Good morning kerri and Jeferey

Getting washing dry is a nightmare atm. Did 2 loads yesterday, will go and check the clothes maiden in a minute but bet its not dry even though I put the dehumidifier on to help.

kerri - hope you save your plants from the sneak eater, do you think it was a slug. (hate slugs)

Morning CW and Kerri :D. It's actually sunny is Sheffield at the mo but very windy - good drying weather I suppose! Hope you catch the nibbler too Kerri - very annoying. I use organic slug pellets on the allotment to keep them off the strawberries, cabbages, etc

Dry and sunny here today so think I've got a full wash dried ready for another tomorrow (WHERE does it all come from?)

Not sure what's nibbling my pots, I always assume it's slugs but I can't see any trails, and the pots are on stones by the shed so I would have thought it unlikely. If it gets any worse I might have to take action. Try not to use any kind of pellets though because of the cat. Not that I think she would eat them...but you never know.

Went out for a run with OH this evening (first time he's come with me) now got a crumble cooking from freezer fruit, think I've only got one bag of rhubarb left now, darn. Put a request for some more on freegle but not forthcoming as yet.
