Thanks CW. They have so far, fingers crossed.
Last Feb was quite mild as a remember. I think this is "unseasonably cold" or however they describe it :rotfl:
Morning everyoneIf at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat0 -
Good morning guys
up early for me. got a builder company coming at 8. oclock to point around the problem window in the lounge. Hope this stops the damp around it, can only keep my fingers crossed as they just aren;t sure it will work, but got to try something.
Every single person who looks at it says it might be something different so giving this window company a chance.
take care all

another early start for me. lol. and its freezing this early too as the heating hasn;t warmed the house up yet.
Thanks Jeferey - the men sealed above the window. My son looked at it when they chipped all the old cement stuff out and could see water in the frame in the grooves, just hope it works.
Take care all.

Evening all, sorry I've not been about much, work super busy and been trying to keep up with boot camp and running too. Even managed a 4mile run in the snow the other morning.
Chilly today, mog virtually gone into hibernation except at 6am when she wanted to go out - just what I needed after we didn't get home until 2.30am lol!
Hope the family is feeling better jefereyFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Evening all.
Kerri your cat has the right idea in this weather. We have never stayed in bed until 8.30 am but it has become the norm just lately with this cold weather.
CW Hope your window is at last sorted. I found a puddle on one of our ledges the other day but seems to have just been when it was blowing a gale towards that window when we were having a real downpour. Just hope it isn't the start of a problem.
Jeferey Hope the family are all fit now.
We went up to London to see Di & Viv & Rose with Tamsin Outhwaite on Thursday - a bit chaotic in London as the bus drivers were on strike. Felt sorry for the regular commuters and all the visitors milling around. Luckily we had heard about the strike on the news the night before so were prepared. Not very happy as we had to use the underground (& pay) rather than our free bus pass!0 -
Good morning guys
Really foggy here today, can hardly see across the road. It came down at tea time yesterday and is still here.
Kerri - your brave going for a run in the snow, not my idea of fun. lol.
red - hope your little puddle doesn;t turn into a big problem. Its a nightmare trying to solve a leak. Still don;t know if mine is fixed as the wall hasn;t dried out yet. Keeping my fingers crossed though.

As it had just fallen and wasn't deep (or too slippy) it was actually quite nice, it tends to be warmer when it snows than when its really frosty and there's something quite calming about hearing the crunch as you run. We crossed over a little bridge with a stream under it and fields about near the end of our run, the sun was just coming up and it was beautiful and peaceful. Things like that which lots of people miss kinda make it worthwhile (not to say I didn't also think of those people, wrapped up in nice warm duvets still and feel a little envious :rotfl:)
Hope everyone's leaky windows get fixed asap. You're has been like finding the lost city of Atlantis CW.
Lovely day here today, actually felt some warmth in the sun - like spring is coming in, despite best intentions, not been out in the garden this year yet and hope to next weekend as I have primroses to plant.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Good morning guys
Well the fog has cleared overnight. Long time since we had fog that lasted for at least a day and half.
Hope you all had a good weekend.

Your description of your run sounded lovely and serene, but I am one of the other kind, the one who was wrapped in a nice warm duvet:rotfl:but it does sound as though you enjoyed the run.
Still waiting for all the plaster to dry out, so keeping my fingers crossed atm.
