lot of it about this year it seems - get well soon.
CW the scenery prob would have been lovely and serene had it not been for my gasping like a goldfish out of water :rotfl:
Thankfully hip not as sore today after my run yesterday (was seriously sore last night) - still managed to hobble through boot camp this morning. Rest day tomorrow unless I go out with OH for a couple of miles .Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Good morning guys
Get better soon Jeferey and DW - all this cold damp weather isn;t helping, hope the chest infection clears up soon.
Kerri - I am sure you were not gasping like a goldfish, your as fit as a fiddle I bet with all that training. lol. Sorry your hip is hurting though, have you taken any anti-inflams for it. ?

Thanks CW - still coughing but feel better. DW seems to be slowly on the mend.
Kerri - sounds like you're having fun

Good morning guys
Jeferey - glad to hear you and your DW are recovering, albeit slowly. This winter certainly has taken its toll on people health with all the coughs/colds etc that have been going around. Keep warm when you go out.

Hope you are improving Jeferey. I always find the cough after the cold is the worse bit for me.
Glad to say had a successful knee op. yesterday. Bad news is that the surgeon thinks I shall need a knee replacement in about 2 years. It was like a production line at the hospital with the number of people having procedures. Now I must be good and do all the exercises I was given - worth it to be able to go walking again when the spring eventually arrives.0 -

Hip seems more or less ok now thanks CW - I'm hoping its just a muscular ache and nothing serious. Clearly I run a little wonky :rotfl:Hope you are improving Jeferey. I always find the cough after the cold is the worse bit for me.

Would a partial knee replacement be an option as opposed to a full one?
Boot camp this morning for me, upped the anti with some usual exercises, plus a 6kg weight :eek:Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Good morning guys
red - glad the op went well, maybe keep up the exercises and you might get away not needing the knee replacement (with a lot of luck). Having a knee replacement does sound like a nasty op.
Kerri - have you tried changing your trainers, I know its really important to get good footwear for running etc. Just a thought.

Yeah, good news on the op Red and the hip Kerri

I Prob do need a new pair of trainers tbh CW I got these at a specialist running shop so they're not cheap footwear and I tried on several pairs, went on the running machine (nearly fell off it too :rotfl:) but they have had a lot of wear and are Prob near the end of their good life. I think my running gait has changed, I used to kick out my left (I think) foot in a little circle, guy at the store noticed as did my trainer, but recently it seems to have stopped (apparently, I never noticed in the first place) so perhaps I'm just realigning myself.
Chucking it down with rain here, hope to get out in the garden this weekend though.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
