Afternoon all.


Glad to hear things are improving with your weather. I have just hung out some towels with fingers crossed that the sun and breeze will dry them.


Had my pre-op assessment yesterday so unless something turns up with the tests, I shall be in next month to have my op. The nurse had to complete about a 12 page document - I don't remember anything like the in-depth questions I had to answer this time compared to when I was last in hospital for a day case about 3 years ago.
I am going to a centre that is only about 3 years old and it is only for orthopaedic cases - very smart - so I am very lucky.

Super cold day here, it's raining now but was still frosty at lunchtime.

Got a wash done but no way was it going outside. Busy day at work and glad it's the weekend. OH b'day tomorrow.

Red - It sounds as though you will get good care at the new hospital when you go for the op next month. At least theya re being thorough.

I;m with you Kerri - no way could I put the washing out, its been raining quite a bit, but its helped wash away the snow and ice at least.

Thanks CW, all tests were negative, I'm not wheat intolerant, etc. so I've got to go for a abdominal scan next. I reckon the doctor thinks I might be pregnant

Cheers CW , scan in a couple of weeks then back to docs in 4 weeks.
FB slept to 06:30 this morning so not too bad! Off to a garden centre for a bit for 2 free drinks (I say free, but we pay £10 to join and we get 24 free drinks a year, 10% off everything and other events so well worth it).

Glad to hear your tests were OK Jeferey. The NHS comes up trumps when you need investigations.


Off to a Burns lunch today - got to dig out something tartan to wear. Not too keen on haggis so have gone for the salmon - probably won't get the whisky with that!

Red - would much prefer salmon too (just ask for the whiskey if its not offered, be cheeky and very mse. lol.) hope you enjoyed your Burns lunch either way hun.


Oh, and Jeferey was very mse too. As paid the joining fee may as well make sure you get the "free" drinks while you can. As tesco say "every little helps" lol.

Good morning everyone.

Another damp day here for us and so cold, didn;t want to get out of bed today so only been up 30 mins. lol. Saves on heating bills as we only put the heating on when we get up.
