Raining here too, though thankfully not at 6am as I had boot camp at 6.30am. Can feel my muscles after yesterday's run but determined to focus on fitness and get back into the swing of things after xmas.

Weather OK here at the moment. Managed to put out some washing as the sun was shining but that has now disappeared.

Sorry to hear your DW has had to go to a family funeral - hope she has a safe journey home.

I have been waiting for a date for a repair to my knee & delighted to just receive a call from the hospital about the pre-assessment and admission date, especially as the knee collapsed again today & I could hardly walk back to the car & drive home.

I have had to stop playing bowls since before Xmas which is really frustrating but hopefully will be able to restart in March.

So annoying when you have played sport all your life to stay fit & then everything wears out & needs repair!!

Can't believe you managed to put some washing outside, it was freezing here yesterday and washing would have came in stiff as a board here.:rotfl:.

Thanks and no, this was the oldest one (93). One of the others is still poorly, keeps needing blood transfusions. The other has recovered and there's another one too. They are all of an age.....

Funeral today, picking DW and FIL from station tonight. It was too far to do in a day (Devon). Morning all :D

    Morning all.

Just spent a frustrating morning applying online for the over 65s NSI bonds. What a performance but looks as though we managed to open one bond each, as we have had confirmation emails, but I won't be convinced until the paperwork arrives.

At least it kept me occupied as I can hardly walk at the moment with this b. of a knee.

Oh, it has just started raining again to cheer me up!!
