I have to do some baking tonight - so I shall make a 'newmrslockwood' cake in your honour...
In the meantime I have a turkey leg, some chicken carcass and bacon off-cuts simmering away in my SC ready for turkey, bacon & mushroom pie tonight. I might go all out and treat us to suet pastry as well!
Does anybody have any idea where my tweezers might be? I have a hair which dared to sprout out of my chin during the night and it has to go.......Is it home time yet?0 -

I would love to put a few pots out front but we dont live in the best area and any thing not glued down would probably walk unfortunately. we live in an ex-council house and the council have put some lovely fences in front of all the houses on the street, apart from ours obviously, and ours looked like the scruffiest on the street. But not now !Nothing to declare

Happy Birthday newmrslockwood . I must say friends had the same problem, but when people saw it was cared for the amount of rubbish dropped there decreased. Enjoy your slowcooker.

horrible isnt it - heard one person describe it as a broken up swastika - dont think thats the image the want to portray. I think a 4 year old could have done a better job. Which i could have had a go. would have been one hell of a lot cheaper :rolleyes: 0 -

Whoo-hoo! DH and DS1 just returned - DS1 spine slightly kinked, but nothing too much to worry about - it might just be his stature - so another check-up in 6 months. :j
