    here goes...
Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One
    Clean floors
    Level Two
Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces - half way there (tiny kitchen but a LOT of clearing to do before I could wipe!)
[strike]Clean cupboard door fronts [/strike]and the front of appliances
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front
Wipe dining table (clean table cloth if necessary)
    Level Three
Dust any extra furniture in dining room, checking for cobwebs on way round
Wipe window sills, clean any marks off windows if required
Wash the washer drawer out if it's gunky
[strike]Clean oven if you didn’t do it last week [/strike]
    Declutter mission task
Sort any cupboard, doesn't have to be in the kitchen/dining room, even if it's just for 10 minutes

Have just got home from work and caught up with the thread. Why clean the house when it's so much more fun to read about everyone? I think I'll just go for level 1 this week and try to gradually work back up to the dizzy heights of level 3.

Pigpen, you have no right to look so gorgeous with eight children.

Happyathome, so pleased for your DS that the news from his check up was better than you'd expected. BTW, have you read Charlotte's Web? It would help you to think so much more fondly of spiders and their dear little eggs.

    Happy Birthday to Newmrslockwood.

    Anw's mum ... what a lovely lyric.

Lil_me, thinking of you and hoping that the tests aren't as bad as you thought they would be.

Hugs to all. Off to do the floors.

    Evening!

Happy birthday Newmrslockwood! Hope you've been spoiled and treated today.
Nikki, hope you've de-stressed after the weekend.
Pigpen, sorry, the compliments continue, keep blushing.. you look very youthful for '28 and the rest' and in my mind you were definitely a red head. Think I've said it before it's always odd to have to change your mental image of someone when you see them.

I've no chat or gossip or moans today so I'm just going to start at the top of the list and work down. No oven clean this week, barely used since last week. BM on and ironing to do as extras. All is quiet in the Solway house..

Well done on everyones successes today!

Grannynise you are tooo lovely for words: please don't tell me that you don't have a little bun tied up neatly on top of your head.
I'm afraid there isn't enough Prozac in the world to enable me to read Charlotte's Web.... maybe you could sit my two darling boys on your lap and read them those books? I can't even get through 'Peepo' without having to wipe my eyes!

I know but it was so sad and it remembered what it was like to be shiny and sparkly and beautiful, and I couldn't bear the way it looked at me anymore!

Evening all, tomorrows lists now up.

    Happy Birthday Newmrslockwood

happyathome great news about DS1, fingers crossed for 6 months time

Tests were not nice at all, in quite a bit of pain but decided to just get on with it, went shopping, helped DP build 4 ramps (hit myself with the hammer more than I did the nails I think :o ) paying for it now as very sore.

I cheated with the kitchen, did most of it last night, finished off this morning and evening, haven't cooked as DPs step dad did a BBQ while we were over there doing the ramps :D I don't mind when someone else offers to cook for us and the kids, would be rude to say no!

DPs appointment with private physio went well, sort of. Well worth the £35, he's an ex football team physio and seen a lot of ankle injuries. Scary bit is he actually made DP black out, totally out of it for a couple of minutes, all through the nerves etc. He's given him a proper diagnosis unlike the one he seen at GP surgery. He thinks he may have actually fractured his ankle which the physio he seen at surgery said he definately haddn't (this happened weeks ago but refused to go to hospital) so have made an appointment with GP tomorrow who will hopefully refer him for an Xray. Think it's going to be costly at £30 a session for this physio but from what he's done so far inc all the bandaging etc he did today and advice etc I think it'll be worth it.

Right going to take some pain killers and get night time stuff done, ouch ouch ouch! TTFN :)
One day I might be more organised...........

Have got a meeting with DS Health Visitor tomorrow, its just rountine to check his development but after the problems we had when he was 3 weeks old and being starved of oxygen, I'm a bit nervous. I think I know in my heart hes fine as hes doing what he sound but I feel nervous of having a 'professional' check him and just want her to tell me that. Really trying not to work myself up as I'll end up having a sleepless night, am trying to relax with a glass of wine - well, got to use up a bottle opened yesterday! lol

    Enjoy your evening everyone!
