    Afternoon all,

Pigpen - im with you on the sunnies!!
Rach - chin up i'm sure it will all work out for you.
happyathome - if in doubt do what i do when i run out of surface space - use the floor. Many a time do friends look at me wierd when im sitting on the floor chopping up veg, or they come in to find pots and pans ive been cooking with on the floor!
Boston - get well soon chuck.
    Dusty - how many !!!

Have there been a few kicks sent through the air, (?) people seem to have inspiration today. Im still at work, been for a swim at lunch and now munching a salad i made for lunch at my desk pretending to do work. Really should do some i suppose......................

  • Well not much FLYing so far this morning but i have been and bought some bunkbeds and bedding that ill need for them. theyre a mix of guest bed and Ellens future bed as well as Sophies current bed so fairly os i think in that theyre multipurpose and will save me worrying if we move to a small house where i cant fit seperate beds.

I only started doing this last week and spent the second half of the week throwing out as much junk as i could with the help of my mil as we had access to their car to take it all to the tip and recycling centre. my house looks far better now and i have a huge incentive to carry on with it.

wow its amazing what i can do when i set myself to it and keep on top of things, sophie was 'helping' which slowed it down a little but saved me from tantrums so i dont mind! might go onto tomorrows list or might just potter round a bit and play with the kids, pottering is apealing so i think thats most likely. hope youre all having a good day and thanks to everyone for giving me a push to keep on top of this

OK, I've been up in the little spare room (I still think of it as my son's room even though he only comes home a couple of times a year). We used this room last week when our cable box downstairs died and we watched television in this bedroom.

So, I've stripped off the old flanalette sheet I had on there as a mattress cover and put on a clean one and made up the bed just to keep everything dust free. I've found it handy for my "siesta" the last few days. It looks very cosy, I'm tempted to move in! My bed is always covered in cats :(

Will wash the sheet tomorrow, it's too late today because I have to go to work this evening and nobody else knows how to take washing off the line....

Hugs to everyone, whether you want one or not!
Its my birthday today and i got a slow cooker and can't wait to use it, but nothing to do in it:o . I think i'll go to butchers first thing in the morning and put it on tomorrow.

    So my list today.

    Yay done for the day.

Yesterday I did my first ever day of gardening. We have a small patch of dirt at the front of the house which was like a little jungle with weeds and also it was full of rubbish that passers by so kindly drop. I have managed to clear the whole patch and it looks so much better now. i would like to plant out there but i am sure that the rubbish would be still dropped and it would look just as bad, so i think we will just flag it.
    Nothing to declare ;)

    Happy Birthday newmrslockwood :)

Maybe you could put a nice pot out there with a plant in for a bit of colour.......so long as they don't use it as a rubbish bin!
