Thankyou for all the lovely comments about the garden, it's taken a while to get there, but it's beginning to look good now. When I was watering it tonight I noticed that the sweet peas are beginning to flower :) DeniseNZ - the fence is blue because I am a cheapsake (or is that moneysaving) and the previous owners left 1 1/2 huge tins of the paint in the shed.

I spent a good part of the evening clearing out the rat cage and rearranging stuff as I got them some new toys at lunchtime. They promptly decided to start chewing on them.

I really needed to connect to my work computer tonight to upgrade the system while no-one was using it, but it appears that I can't dial in for some reason. I guess that's a good enough excuse for not doing it, but 1 more thing to add to the list to do tomorrow.

My hot spot for tomorrow must be my study as it's beginning to look like a mess in here !!

    Evenin' all

Well everyone sounds really upbeat and up-for-it this week. That Monday feeling? Very different from the end of last week.

Doing ok over here. Not great, not bad but no complaints from me.

Kitchen is ok but lots of the extras didn't get tackled.

AnW's Mum - lyrics looked lovely.
tracyg - glad the christening went lovely and will be thinking about you tomorrow. Will have everything crossed that you get the full all clear for DS.
newmrslockwood - sorry I'm a bit late but HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Hope you had a lovely day.
pigpen - your son is nearly 16?! i definitely want to know what moisturiser you use.... lovely pics.
happyathome - glad it went ok today and make sure you have it all written down for GP tomorrow. I need to do that too. I always feel apologetic going to my GP (why??) so I feel like I need to justify my being there. Good luck.

To everyone else - sounds like you're all in a flying frenzy. Funny writing that made me imagine us all like we're in Harry Potter flying on sticks. Tee hee. I'm in a v silly mood tonight.

    Onwards and upwards tomorrow.

    TM x

p.s. Katherine has posted on the old thread by mistake. I've left a message but is anyone able to link? Muchos ta

Not before mine !!! Just had a nosey, wow looks lovely Shirley!!!

Given up on painkillers (thanks for suggestion maralum but haven't drank for almost 2 years now) the pains much more than I expected as is the bleeding, did call up and she said it was normal, kinda scary when I first noticed, going to go to bed instead, bored of sitting in the corner ignored!

AnW'sMum, you'll get there, don't panic, hoping Wednesday goes well, will be thinking of you all.

Maralum must be the time of year for pox as they are dropping like flies here with it, loads have had it over the hols, just got to pray DS2 doesn't catch it again, I'm like a woman possessed checking him all the time but he's had them 3 times so far, don't want them again as he has to go into hospital most likely if he does :(

Goodnight, sweet dreams everyone, see you all tomorrow when I'll hopefully feel better as I have a list a mile long to do!
One day I might be more organised...........

    Hiya
Big hello to everyone. Sorry, i've not been able to read all the posts today as i've only just put my feet up but i've done all the levels for today and the house is looking pretty good. Took car to the garage (my mum had reversed into the door!) and it's going to take three days before I get it back.

Had to make a trip to the pet shop and get some stuff for guinea pigs ears, i'm pretty sure it's just wax and it looks much better now i've used the drops. Hope i'm not taking the dfw too far though so will keep an eye on her and take her to the vet if it doesn't stay improved.

I've spent two hours potting up in the greenhouse (second hand of course) and am loving it. We've only had it about a month but everything is looking good. Even the garden is starting to look really tidy so flylady is working wonders.

Hugs to all who need it and to everyone else too!

    Take care xx

Shirleypark why does your list say 'remove the purple flowered plant'? Surley it'll look great against the blue fence? See, I've just saved you a job so ppplllleeeaasssseee will you come and do my garden first?;)

And NO Happyathome I do NOT have a little bun on the top of my head. I am a very young granny (hollow laughter) and I don't knit or wear a shawl. (I do have a rocking chair though)

I haven't even done the level 1 for today, just the dailies. Promise myself to do better tomorrow. :o Any ideas for extra motivation?

Marked another 40 papers today, so beat my target of 29. Woohoo!

That's fab as i'm hoping to go swimming tomorrow with DH and baby for 1st time before we go on hols, so, i'm just going to finish the glass of wine i'm enjoying and catch up here, then have a bath, and i can go out guilt free. I'll feel even happier if i can then still manage 29 tomorrow, and maybe finish a bit earlier than planned, but at least i have worked in a bit of leeway now.

Haven't even thought much more about the list.

Had a defrosted chilli for dinner, and DH made me have a bit of a wobble round the garden on my bike so i can take it on hols, which was hilarious as i nearly went over the handlebars as he has sharpened up the brakes. As i haven't rode for at least 12 years  it could prove to be very interesting on hols, but i am up for a laugh, even if it is at my expense.

We'll be up mega early tomorrow as DH has to be at Harrogate for 7:30am, so i will sort out my list etc. then.

Hugs to you all, can't wait till i can keep up properly again,
    Michelle, x

big happy birthday hugs for newmrslockwood

traceyg - good luck for tomorrow, i too am dreading that cos charlie was born with mild clubbed feet, and i have noticed that one of them doesn't touch the floor properly when he stands on it. and they may refer us on when they do that check, and the poor mite spent most of the 1st6 weeks of life at the hospital with jaundice so i would rather not.

maralum lovely to see you, i have to say we got our 1st smudges today on the living room wall when charlie was in the baby walker and tried to climb into the toy box. I don'twant to rub it off though, but i dare say more than one splodge and it would start to annoy me.

sorry - a bit too bozz-eyed again today to remember much else, or else it's the 3rd bottle of wine i've had. Must get some fresh air tomorrow.

Cos it's horrible. It's this big bushlike thing that just grows and grows and grows, even if I hack most of it off. To be honest, I could get away with just thinning it out a bit, but it just irritates me so much that at the moment I want to get rid of it.

I had considered moving it to where the coal bunker currently is, but that's still full of coal and have nowhere else to put the coal or the coal bunker.
