You don't need to help me out at all and a simple yes or no can not answer your question. Of course the title of the thread is not 100% accurate but it's not a good policy to sell or give away any product with such a short use by date.0 -

Is that fence post up your 'arris hurting?!
Seriously, the thread title is 100% bull. The items were not out of date and SS didn't tell the OP to get stuffed!
The answer is a simple "No."0 -
Not read the whole thread, but yes I think their reply was acceptable. And while I don't think you were wrong to complain, you have every right to do so if you aren't happy as their customer, I wouldn't personally have bothered and find it a strange thing to get wound up about. The product wasn't over its best before date and it will most likely be exactly the same for years to come, being mostly sugar.
Not necessarily referring to the original poster here, but I do find it a bit odd that some people stick so rigidly to best before dates and use by dates, rather than using their own common sense. I imagine a lot of perfectly good food gets wasted that way.0 -

"Of course the title of the thread is not 100% accurate"
The title only makes two statements, "out of date food" and being told to "get stuffed", neither of which is actually true, so in effect, the title is 100% inaccurate.0
