There is no indication on in the website wording that makes it clear that you are hiring a floor in the building. The guest reviews they've published don't make it clear either, with statements like:
Your website does not do this beautiful house justice. Thank you so much for such a wonderful holiday in such a beautiful setting and with the most luxurious holiday accommodation we have stayed in.

    and

We have had the most fantastic holiday in such a beautiful setting and with the villa providing us with everything we could possible [sic] want.

You have to do a lot of legwork to work out that you're not getting the whole place.

think i've found it, if you thought you were getting all that you didn't read the description properly. it clearly states the owners are available on-site. i think you maybe couldn't believe your luck?

the definition of a villa is a thorny one isn't it?

    Ok think this is it.
If so, then I do have sympathy with the original poster as the advert clearly tries to give the impression they are getting the whole villa

Casa ****** ****** is set on the ************** with a southerly aspect. This superbly furnished accommodation is more than a home away from home. It has every facility you could wish for to relax and enjoy your holiday. Two of the bedrooms lead on to the terrace with magnificent views of the lake and mountains as does the sitting room. It has a beautiful laid out garden with large lawn area and a sandpit for the children. There are restaurants and shops within a 5 minute drive. The surrounding countryside is scattered with many pretty traditional white villages. A large commercial centre with a hypermarket and various shops is 10 mins drive away. It is a wonderful situation for exploring the picturesque Andalucian countryside or just relaxing by the pool. There are many walks in the area for the more energetic with maps and books being provided to help you on your way. You could not pick a more beautiful spot to holiday than Casa ******* *******

And one states that it's all on one level, while showing a picture of a 3 storey house!

I think it's deliberately misleading. It definitely gives the impression of the entire villa.

However, the tripadviser advert is completely different and says 'Superbly furnished and set all on one level this accommodation within a villa is of the highest quality'.

The assorted ads do vary .. some say that the owners are on site - others don't.

This would make me wonder though:
Notes: The accommodation is completely self-contained, having sole use of the pool and large terrace area with garden.

I would wonder why they made point about sole use of the garden and pool

I don't see how "The pool is 6x4m and is completely private" can be if the owner is sat out on the balcony directly above watching you and your wobbly bits doing your Tom Daly impression.. I would be highly upset.
