Neighbour being a pain and stirring

I have tried to be "friendly" with her when I moved in here but this was simply impossible as she would bang on my door several times per day "for chats".
I work, I have no time for chats with people I have nothing in common with - the little time I have I spend with what matters to me.
There is no smell in/from my flat so this is not an issue either, never was.
What I am saying is that she is making up those stories - as she did about previous people living in this flat pushing them to move away as they simply could not take her nonsense any longer.
As I have said, I am not rude to her in any way- I simply totally avoid her and really do not even remember when was the last time I even saw her before today.
Sigh...0 -
Did you have permission to sublet too?
Of course I did - written permission from the council.
And I never sublet, I had a lodger and this is very different.
Subletting is not allowed.
Jesussssssssss, what has that got to do with anyone? Trawl through all my threads/posts all you like.0 -
The woman who lived in the flat below us (house conversion - her first floor, us second floor) denied there was any smell too. Quite often the people living there have gotten so used to it that they can't smell it anymore.
You seem to be really dismissive of her - that's not going to help you if she complains and the council launches an investigation. You need to make sure that you have all the relevant permissions for what you've done/are doing. Or you could be evicted and end up having the unenviable task of trying to rehome your cats and dog.0 -
It is not about her "not wanting to overlook my rule breaking" - it is about her making up stories.
Is this really so difficult to understand what I am talking about here?
My having my dog and cats is NOT affecting her in any way. She is making up stories about that.
Not clear from my posts?0 -

.
I have people who do not have cats visiting and everyone is surprised that there is no smell as they always say they would expect this with 6 cats.
In any case this is not an issue - the issue is her making up stories.
Not sure how many more times do I have to write this?0 -

I'm not trawling through your threads - I remembered you mentioning you had one.
If you hadn't had permission that would be fraud, and the council would have prosecuted you for that as well as evicting you.
Actually, I don't care now. I hope she does complain and I hope you're found out. No one should have to out up with their neighbours herding a huge rabble of animals through their hallway multiple times a day.0 -

It doesn't make a jot of difference whether they are affecting her or not (although it sounds like they might be, to be honest) what matters is that if she reports you, you're in trouble.
When the council come round and say 'we've had a report that you've got seven animals', you saying 'but I don't think they bother anyone' won't do you any good at all.
If you want to get away with breaking rules, you need to be good at it, and in this case that means keeping the neighbour sweet so she doesn't report you!0 -
Trying to keep her sweet means having her over several times a day, having her bang on my door asking for fags/drinks/money in all hours - no thanks.
Wish I never posted as low as I felt I feel even lower now. On pets forum.
My pets do NOT bother her, she wants to get at ME via them. She does not see/come across my pets apart from what she sees through her window. She makes up those stories simply to upset me.
Nobody on the estate talks to her, she caused it, she caused problems with people/for people. She is craving attention, ANY attention and hence those idiotic accusations.
Never mind.0 -
