Virgin Holidays do by phone. They'll even waive the phone booking fee.

  • Hi - I'm thinking of getting an Amex card for a house renovation project
Your list includes Kingfisher as accepting Amex but I have called the Screwfix head office and they say no
Do you have any further information about this? Are they in the pipeline?
    Many thanks

Screwfix used to accept AmEx a few years ago, but stopped again. It's the only supplier that I can think of that has taken AmEx then stopped.

Engineers just see a glass twice the size it needed to be :D

You can buy gift cards from Tesco and pay with Amex. You also currently get 75 club card points for every £25 spent. My Tesco sells B&Q gift card but you can't use them on line.

Other useful GCs are Netflix, M&S, John Lewis, and Boots
  • My local Premier corner shop/newsagent takes AMEX. I use it when I stock up on energy drinks and snacks.
