Virgin Holidays definitely do, there is a Virgin Atlantic american express card, so would be a bit laughable if they didn't. I paid over the phone though recently for Virgin holidays, maybe they don't take it online.

Just as we're staying in a premier inn attached to one next week.

Table Table do, as it turns out. So does New Look

British Gas Business do not take Amex. Not sure on the domestic arm.

Please don't stick your card in without asking because it shuts the till down half the time.

Actually, we should all get together and all walk into Dunelm with our American Express cards. If we crash their tills enough, maybe they won't be such cheap skates and they'll accept it.

There was a post a while back where someone mentioned that TJI Fridays didn't take American Express. I can confirm that they actually DO I used my Amex at one (new Norwich restaurant) last week.
