Ok, the new sig is done and we are back at Feb 09
.... so need to get eBaying again! Got loads to get on (sorted out a load of clothes earlier and OH is going to do his tomorrow hopefully) so must get photo-ing soon! Also need to relist all my Amazon things, as they have started to drop off again....

OH better get sorting his! He increased the debt again. Men eh :rolleyes:No longer using this account for new posts from 20130

I know! I shouldn't have let him buy the tv really, but he agreed to so many conditions, it was almost worth it! Most of the debt is actually his, the loan is joint and the second CC in my sig is mine.... but even that one is cut up now - it was my emergency one, but I was having too many emergencies:mad:
I cannot say that I am 100% innocent in all this spending, I am just better at justifying my own spending to than OH is
I have tried a few different ways to manage our money, but I think the best thing to do is to set a weekly budget and only have that money in my 'living' account - that way, we can't overspend (well thats the theory anyway!)
I will crack this damn budgetting thing if it kills me (or OH)
What I am please about is that after talking to OH, we have both agreed on common goals (owning our own house and getting rid of the CC debt by the time the loan runs out) so at least we are pulling in the same direction.... I really don't mind if he doesn't help much, just as long as he supports by not spending any more money, sticking to his budget, and not moaning when we are skint (which will be a lot now!)'We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars' - Oscar Wilde0 -
Just looking at the new snowball, we need to pay off an extra £900.25 before Oct 08, on top of what we already pay each month, to get the CC's paid off at the same time the loan ends.... thats an extra £150 a month  - may not sound much, but thats quite a lot for us! Oh well....'We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars' - Oscar Wilde0

Thanks hun, that's been the biggest test for our relationship I think.... dare I say it but apart from the occasional hiccup (£800 tv!) he's definately getting better, especially as I keep talking about this house that we both want....'We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars' - Oscar Wilde0

Had a productive day so far... got the gravel down in the back garden, unfortunately not enough to go down in the front garden too, so will have to wait til next week when we get some spare time (whats that!?!
) to go get some more.... Also took some stuff to the tip (well three loads actually)
Did a bit of a naughty thing and opened one of my sealed pots.... I know I said I wouldn't, but I couldn't leave all that change sat on the side when I have a huge CC balance to pay (plus OH might get his hands on it!). I haven't opened the terramundi, just the whiskey jar, and all told there was £189.80 in there!:eek:I was well chuffed! That, and the £39.04 I had saved from eBay/Amazon has paid of fully one the CCs, and paid another £25.18 off the next one - Snowball now says Jan09, which has gone down by a month, so I am pleased. Whilst I feel a little bit guilty, it was definately worth it. Still undecided whether to fish all the £2s out the terramundi again yet..... think I'll probs leave them for now.
Still waiting for the BT to go through properly.... Gonna be v tight this weekend as a result, as only £24 credit left on the CC until the BT clears, and a total of 52p in our bank accounts
We do have plenty of money still left in the bills acc, but a) thats for bills and b) I cut the debit card up so I wouldn't be tempted!. Besides, we don't need anything this weekend, and I have my cut in half card in case I break down (have to pay £40 for recovery)
Better go spend some more time with OH before he moans again...'We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars' - Oscar Wilde0
