  • Last payment is 1st Oct.... so want to have all the CCs cleared by then too.

Money from OH cleared earlier than I thought, so have just made a payment from CC2 of £222.79, which brings my DFD TO Oct08, which is when the loan finishes.... :D
To get it to move any closer, I will need to pay extra off the cards AND save a loan payment...... :o
Should be able to do that thru Quidco/eBay/Amazon.... hopefully!

  • Remembered why I was coming to post now :o

Took two of the tops back to Next yesterday (£20 each, non sale items) because I didn't like them. As I only spent £28 on my CC and the rest on giftcards, I was half expecting the SA to only put the £28 on my CC and give me the rest on a gift card... but she put the full £40 back on my CC :D

  • Well that'll teach me for thinking it was going to be a good day! Just gone to hoover up all the mess DS created downstairs this morning, and my Dyson has packed up! There is absolutely no suck what-so-ever!!! :(

Ok I've had the thing for 7 years, but thats not the point! Looks like the CC will have to take a bit of a bashing to buy a new one!! And OH now wants to buy a lawnmower..... he can pay for that!

If ot goes again you try for a repair which wld cost a lot less. Our Dyson has been repaired twice (was told by the repairer that he gets more of these than any other make, v. unreliable). I'd never buy another as it's soooo noisy.
