  • Well you say you have 18 items + 10 to list... making a total of 28. Lets say they sell for at least £1.50 each = £42. You dont cout postage as thats covered, insert fees are free so its just final value fees, so say take of £4. So thats a running total of £38. So you need to make at least £60. Now that sounds a lot but say one win is £20 and you may get more on ebay. Its not 'that' much is it and you can always ebay more stuff next month and the such. Also what about getting a bit more matched betting in?

Again, MBing is something else I need to take a look at again, I started when on Matty leave, but I just don't have the time atm to go back to it. I did all the SR bookies at the time, which are the 'easier' ones, but didn't look at the SNR ones, as they seemed to need more time to check for odds.
I also don't have the spare cash atm to get started, I think u need a pretty good sized float to get going on the SNRs.....

Good point about the eBaying, I need to be more positive! Some of the stuff I've got should fetch an ok price, just have to wait and see...... I won't mention that I am biddiing on something atm..... but they will come out of the clothes budget (they are boots). I already have a brown pair that I bought before I split from my ex-H, which was over 3 years ago, and they are still going strong!! In fact I am only buying the black pair so I can waer them to work, as they are so comfy but brown boots look a bit odd with blue trousers!

As u've told me not to touch them, I will leave my sealed pots:rotfl: ..... I know if I open them I will only regret it!

  • Yes dont open your sealed pots sarah, you would only regret it. Regarding the matched betting if you havent got time for it I wouldnt try and squeeze it in because then you might do something wrong. I would just stick to bingo/ebay for now. Have you done the other bingo sites/gambaling/lottery on topcashback/quidco/pigsback? On there some of them you deposit £10 and get £20/£30 back, obviously you double you money doing nothing but its tied up for a few months. Also you may win (like I did) and then thats cool. Also have you done all the free sign ups etc on quidco? Just trying to give you ideas on how to get this 'missing' cash you need.... tell me to shut up if I am boring you :rotfl:

Not at all, you carry on! I do tend to loose my way a little sometimes and need to be kicked into touch!

Right, tiny mini update before I go get ready for work again.....

Just transferred the Sky bill money into OHs acc ready for tomorrow... and whipped his card out his wallet so he's not tempted!
Paid nursery fees this morning (£310 for 8 days:eek:) but sent off the childcare voucher stuff a few days ago, so hopefully that will take into effect before my next pay day, and before the next fees are due..... then will have to phone Tax Credits and let them know about a)my change of income - childcare vouchers is salary sacrifice, and b) the cost of childcare has increased, as we increased DS sessions from one to two per week... may well increase to three, but not decided yet as we probably won't get any extra money for it...

Must get OH to call about his Childcare Voucher pack this week, and work out how much he should claim....

Getting impatient now, two days to go until CC1 can be cleared.... again!

Hi Sarah, my salary sacrifice kicked in this month but was unawre that I should inform the CTC people. Would I be right in thinking that in actual fact, CTC would go down? Good to hear you doing so well with the moneysaving and taking charge of hubby! Lenny x

Hiya Len.....I'm not enitirely sure tbh... I posted on the benefits board and someone answered saying that I should only declare the salary that I am actually receiving (minus the vouchers) and that I should only declare the cost of the childcare that I am paying cash for (minus the vouchers)
Its all a bit of a minefield really!

    Hope u are well?

Right, thanks to PaP, I now have 27 items Turbolisted onto ebay :T
Found a couple more things earlier to put on too, so will do that in the morning......
    Spent too much today....
*£3.96 on food at work
*£15.98 on four new pillows (household budget) but desperately needed! Our old pillows are the Basics ones (bought cheap when we moved in two years ago, and OH now needs all five to be comfortable, thats how flat they are!
*£11.98 on two fitted sheets (household budget) but they should have been reduced so they are going back tomorrow!. I only got these because they were £3 something, I'm not paying £6 for a sheet..... they will go back now and I will go without. Will walk up to work tomorrow, thus exercising myself and the dog too!
*£45.09 food shopping (budgetted) This included £22 on beer for OH as it was on offer, we hardly seemed to eat anything last week, so we have loads left in the freezer still, plus plenty in the cupboards..... I even still have one bottle of wine and two bottles of Cava to drink!
Scrapped Moozie's/Pap's weekly spends by the skin of my teeth (and 4p! ) but still in budget so I am pleased with that! Also got a mahoosive bag of clothes for DS from a lady at work today, theres enough there to keep him going for ages and ages (inc a pair of kiddies Levis - ebay when they're done with!:D )

With all the above and my boots on eBay, I seem to be on a bit of a spend frenzy...... esp as I ordered a Liz Earle TSV today from QVC, for a total of £41.93:eek:  ..... BUT I can send it back.... as soon as I ordered it, I felt guilty, then realised how much I have spent over the last fews day (thats what made me stop and realise!)

Can't wait for Monday so I can pay this damned CC off (except the £41.93 of course).

Non-DFW.... Gotta have a real good tidy up tomorrow... where I have been working late for the last three days, everything has just been dumped where there was space... and now there's no more space!!!Also have a HUGE stack of laundry that needs to be put in the cupboards.
Going to my Dads for tea tomorrow night and OH is going to work, so no need to cook (altho OH will probably eat in the morning when he gets in)

Think thats it for now.... come on eBay!!!!

    Sx

You seem to have everything planned Sarah, I wish I could be that organised! I too need to have a big clear up today as OH is at work (makes it easier) but this will be done in between ebaying.
