  • Will you go in after you have been to the doctors, sarah?
  • Yeah probably..... that time gives OH to get a couple more hours sleep, he's already taken the night off tonight incase Connor can't go to nursery tomorrow, but he will get up when I get back from the DRs.... That way I will only loose a few hours...

what hours do you and your OH work? Do you work around each other to minimise the need for childcare? Such a logistical nightmare isnt it! Good luck at the drs, hope they can do something to help him.
  • Thanks..... OH works nights, and I work days.... we both work for a supermarket, and as we are open fron 7-22 Mon-Sat, 10-16 Sun, my hours are pretty flexible - we are lucky that way....
DS goes to nursery on a Mon and Fri, and between OH, myslef, Mil and Fil, we have DS the rest of the week.....
Just getting ready for Drs, and DS is having another bout of the Big D:eek:

Thats quite a good way of working it. When DS was litle me and my DH had a similar arrangement and my parents filled in the gaps.

  • Bunny I think she is working a late tonight which means she will prob get in about 10pm ish :o

    *paps worried too*
  • Aaaahhhh, sadly no life!
Just been staying off the pc to let DS get into a deep enough sleep so that my typing doesn't disturb him too much! He's feeling much better now, he's had lots of small milk feeds during the day, and scoffed a piece of toast and some apple before bed tonight, and so far *touch wood* has managed to keep it all down :D He even had a play this afternoon, so I think he will be just fine! Apparently this gastro-entoritis (sp?) is going around atm, the duty Dr yesterday had already seen 6 kids with it that afternoon....

Thanks for the well wishes xxxx

Otherwise life is a boringly normal as ever... Dad is coming round tomorrow to put the new washing line up that I bought last week, got some Amazon packets to post in the morning, then I shall start on clearing up the aftermath of OH being at home with DS for two days
Still trying to convince OH to cook dinner tomorrow, then we're going out for a few drinks (hopefully) and meeting up with a couple of friends....

Moneywise, it's all going pretty fast! Kinda lost it the last few days, but not particularly bothered atm.... will get my head back into on Monday.....
