That's great on getting the charges back - I'm in the process of claiming back mine too.

DS surprised me and didn't wake til 9.15 today!!! :D But dd woke at 7 as usual :) I did get a little snooze on the sofa however.

    Any plans for today?

Glad u managed to get a bit if kip. No plans as yet for today. I was gonna go food shopping but OH wants to go tomorrow night before work (we both work at our local supermarket). At least it's one less day to buy for.
It's a beautiful day here again, so I think a quick load of washing will need to be out on, a walk to the bottle bank with the last of the empties, then chillin in the garden with DS and the dog. A proper relaxing Sunday!
    What about you?

Finally, after what seems like weeks, I have sold another DVD on Amazon...That'll be £1.87 to debt account, thank you very much! Not a lot I know, but lots of little numbers added up soon makes a big number. Thats how I got my debt and thats how I'm gonna beat it!!!:D

Great attitude :) And so true - those little amounts end up knocking months of your DFD!

Just had a little chat with my Stepmum, and happened to mention impending tax/MOT this month, and bless her, she just offered to 'help out' if I need it. Hopefully the car will be ok, but I did warn her I may have to call on her if it needs work done. Such a wonderful offer, but at 27, I shouldn't be in the position where I may have to accept it! That's what makes me so  about my debt! Can't wait to kiss it goodbye.

  • Re your stepmum's offer - don't be ashamed to take her up on it. Let her get some pleasure from helping you - it is a lovely feeling to be able to help out those you love (those were the days!!!!).

You're doing really well, and congrats to OH on smoking :T :T :T :T .

Just a thought - don't know what paper you buy, but have you registered on their website, entered their comps and given email address? I did all this with The Times and they started sending me offers to take out a subscription - I caved in at £2 a week - even although I only normally get on Sat & Sun I still save money.

    Good luck!

savvykaz - the first bit is my name and the numerical is the year I was born :p (actually its my number for the clocking-in machine at work!)
