WOW! Sarah - 8 til about 8ish when he's only 3 months - well done!
You're doing really well and fantastic that your OH has given up the fags for so long!
Have you joined all the click site like pigsback, freefivers and surveys (mum's opinions for example - lots of surveys about nappies etc)? These can bring in a little - sorry if I'm teaching a granny to suck eggs!
30% of your debt so far, especially having a new baby and being on mat leave is fabulou s- I bet you get that dfd nearer! You been using freecycle to cover the cost of some of the things for bubs?

I have joined all the click sites... still takes me ages to do it tho! I have been using freecycle, but haven't taken so much off there as put stuff on to make way for the baby (lots of stuff, small house!)... only the stuff I couldn't sell first.
I'm very lucky that MIL is the charity shop queen, and is always on the lookout for bargains. My Mum feels guilty coz she doesn't get to see DS as often as she'd like, so everytime I go over, there always bags full of clothes/wipes etc. I fell in love with the Onelife reusable nappies at an antenatal class, and managed to get a 'Birth to Potty Hamper' for £70 less than RRP on Kiddicare.com - thru Quidco of course! And I work with approx 100 women, so when they all found out I was pregnant, I had to 'bagsy' a huge cupboard for all the stuff they kept bringing in for me/DS. Anything I didn't need went to freecycle.
I think atm DS is either on a bit of a growth spurt, or he is going to take after his father, who can sleep for 24 hrs at a time!

Fatastic about all the free stuff
I'm lucky too as my sis-in-law has a little boy who is 3 1/2 and so she gives me all hisclothes for my ds and he has a LOT! Lots more than I would ever have bought my ds! Obviously very grateful though
Glad he's sleeping so well - makes it all so much easier - ds finally went to sleep at about 8.45 tonight, which considering they both go down at 7 is a bit of a nightmare!

Ouch! Will he sleep in longer in the morning or will he just wake up and be grumpy?

Wake up and be grumpy no doubt!
Oh the joy!

Hi Sarah,
Just read your diary, well done, you've done really well so far. It's a great feeling paying off those debts isn't it?
Congrats on your baby, jealous he's sleeping through... my DD is 21 months and still wakes up most nights. Although last night she didn't, but that's probably because I wore her out yesterday!!:rotfl:
Have you got any bank charges to claim back? I'm on stage 2 with mine and now have to take them to court for approx £900.
I'll keep reading your diary with interest.

No unfortunately. I have never *yet* been charged either from bank or CC, and we claimed back £385 from the Woolwich for OH already.'We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars' - Oscar Wilde0
