So do you apply some sort of stupidity scale or is just anyone falling victim to any scam. When you post comments questioning consumers level of intellect then perhaps you need to make sure that your comments are checked for accuracy. Maybe, like yourself, some consumers have issues with adult literacy.
Not really a scam is it? It quite clearly says on the website what the product is. It's then upto the user to decide if they want to spend money or not.0 -

The main page of https://www.drivinglicence.uk.com/ clealy states in three easy to read paragraphs:Apply for, renew or change your driving licence online, safely and securely. Our online service provides a complete checking service and this service will fill out the form on your behalf and send it to you. You will then need to submit this form to the DVLA, along with any fee that may be payable to them for processing your application. Please see the table at the bottom of this page for details of these additional charges. We are not affiliated with DVLA, the UK government or any official body. The checking service we provide can be obtained from a DVLA office directly at a reduced fee or you can apply without a checking service where there will be no checking fee payable.
I fail to see how it can be any clearer?0 -

Ok Harvey, you carry on being in the minority, the vast majority on here are appalled by this company.0 -

Latest update is that I received a large basket of flowers and a bunch of helium filled balloons with the words 'thanks a bunch' etc on them. Also a card with the words, 'Thanks for keeping us amused with your forum posts and your valued custom.' Best wishes drivinglicense.uk.com
I'm not sure what custom they're referring to since they provided a full refund or perhaps this was just their way of issuing a veiled threat to show that they are monitoring me. Either way its great for me, I got some nice flowers and I get to know that I've really got them rattled.
The latest episode follows my posting comments on Facebook with regard to their ethical web hosting business. Search for 'serveraid.org'. Yes, they're now into 'ethical' web hosting and of course running their own web hosting business is the perfect front for semi-legitimate businesses providing administrative 'services' that the OFT say cannot equate to the provision of a service.
Keep taking them to small claims court guys, they'll settle or lose in court and once they lose in court their whole business model collapses.0 -
We recently received a full refund. They refused at first but changed their minds after we sent a Letter Before Action by recorded delivery. Money Claim Online would have been the next step.0

I agree it looks clear to me also HB, but going by Joes' posts I believe it has been changed since original site set up? (look at posts with the ASA involved)0 -

Bet that not another day passes before someone posts on here again bleating that they have just been scammed !You scullion! You rampallian! You fustilarian! I’ll tickle your catastrophe (Henry IV part 2)0 -
Whether the web site has been changed is largely irrelevant. I had another email today from à chap who received à full refund after following my guidance on here. They won't go to court [TEXT DELETED BY FORUM TEAM]. The fact that the odd dimwit thińks their website is clear is also irrelevant. The OFT are clear they do not provide à service therefore you have no legally binding contract with them [TEXT DELETED BY FORUM TEAM]0
