im not sure if this is the right section but i need to have a rant
recently a couple have moved in to a rental property in a the small close i live in.
on the first day they moved in my partner was threaten by the bloke due to the fact he had blocked the entry to the car park so he could move 4 of his cars to park. my partner pointed out that it a residential car park for the 8 flats that overlook it and that as it only holds 6 cars could he park at least 1 of them on the road. the guy started threatening him with violence. we did not call the police due to worry of our property being attacked as the guy knew what car was ours and where we live.
the second day the bloke and a friend was sitting in one of the cars this is know as the drug car as he only drives it to the area to smoke weed in then moves it away after. they sat there for a while smoking weed and i decided to phone the 101 number gave details but they drove off when i was on the phone. so i was told to phone next time they are in the area
over the next few days the guy would go out in 1 of 4 cars (all the same make and colour all brought in the past 2 years) return 10-30 mins later change cars and repeat.
he put a for sale sign in one of the cars. people started turning up late at night to 'look' at this car but never open more than the driver door and the boot. this made me suspicious as people generally dont view cars at 11pm or even one morning when i was getting ready for work someone was viewing it at 3.30am.
the drug car returned a few times in the week and after a while i was fed up of the smell of weed and the litter they leave afterward i called 101 again and gave them all the information (description of the 2 guys, the number plates of all 5 car he drives, his address and the mobile number from for sale sign) the woman didnt seem bothered and said they send someone round. he was outside smoking for just under 3 hours and no one came to inspect the car.
recently the guy has been watching me from his window and comes out the house to watch me drive down the road when i go to work and has followed me half way down the street when i walk to the shops. im not sure if he is trying to intimidate me.
the drug car returned tonight i had a few windows open as it very hot and they parked directly under my kitchen window and started smoking weed. i went and closed the window so they drove round to the living room window and did the same so i had to shut the window.
ive not witnessed any harassment of the other neighbors but that maybe down to the fact most don't leave their houses except to put the bins out once a week. it a nice quiet area and i think this is why it maybe a target for the drugs.
sorry for the rant but i feel like the police think im a curtain twitcher but i worry it this is going to end like a lot of small drug dealer in the city where they get into gang wars and a passerby gets stabbed or becoming more common shot.

I wouldn't worry about a gang war but this guy is definitely being anti social. I think it's important you act like you don't care in front of him. But pester the police as much as you can.Hi. Keep a log. Report it to your local council's ASBO team as well as the police. If he lives in council/HA housing, report it to them too.0

Welcome to MSE

I have similar issues with a neighbour who lives in the flat above me, I've been onto our housing association as he's breaking his tenancy in several ways (weed, pitbulls, stolen vehicles etc) - as mentioned, if you're worried about any possible repercussions, it's important to act like you don't care what they're up to.
Definitely keep on at the police if things keep happening or if it escalates.0 -
it has now been around 6 weeks and even with calling 101 every night no police have ever turned up. the car (same car) has a new driver now who maybe 14-15 years old and police still are not interested.
one of the drug user has threaten me again and police just gave me a incident number.
how do i escalate this problem as the police do not care0 -
So he owns four identical cars all under two years old ? I take it you mean that they are that age as he has only just moved in so you wouldn't know when he brought them , he sits outside his own home smoking drugs in a special car he got just for that purpose when he could just as easily smoke them indoors as everybody seems to know what he is up to because they can smell it anyway , swaps cars every half hour despite the fact That they are identical and does his drug deals in the small hours of the morning when its quiet so everybody would hear and see what he is up to as there is nothing else going on , I could go on about all the holes in your story as its like a seive but I will just politely suggest you either change your meds or start taking some of them because you clearly have an over active imagination and need to get a hobby or something to do with your life0

Get onto your local councillor; residents association (if there is one). Have any other neighbours seen anything they are willing to report?Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

This kind of thing happens all the time in my area.
There are about six drug dealers in my road alone.
One is a big time dealer, takes his kids to Disneyland Florida every year and at least three other foreign holidays while driving a top of the range car, and he's never worked. He's been known to threaten extreme violence over drug debts.
The others are all dealing on a smaller scale but still very frustrating to see them get away with it.
Police have been told numerous times but nothing ever happens.0 -
I have had problems with drug dealers, so bad, that the police wanted to put my hubby and I into a safe house. The police know where the dealers are, what they are doing, but seem to do nothing. I get the feeling that all the police seem to care about is they know where they are if they want them. It may be worth putting the registration numbers into the ASKMID site, this will tell you if the cars are insured. If they are not a call to DVLA may work better.0

That's interesting leanne. I'll have a look at that site.0 -

This always amazes me. (I've known friends who have lived in such a situation.)
Everyone locally seems to know where the drug dealers live and operate from but the police just leave them alone.0
