Can I use my Limited company to make fundraising for a charity purpose?

Mind you. I don't think that's right. I don't believe it's an offence for anyone to act as an agent for a Ltd Co and make payments and accept receipts on its behalf.
The personal account is likely to have T&Cs that prevent it from being used for business purposes, which is what receiving and making payments on behalf of the Ltd Co is likely to be seen as.0 -

But I can tell my patners/clients to hold the money at the moment. And in the worst case, banks do not exist only in the UK.0 -

Nothing to do with the non-profit organisation : the only way I will profit from there is by using the opportunity to meet new people.
It is not so bad to not have a bank account for the first months....I am really peace of mind.0 -

Sorry, I didn't mean for that to sound as harsh as it was.
What I'm saying is, that without a solid business plan, looking to turn this somehow to profit, I can't see how this will work, and from the details we've been given (after some pushing), there still doesn't seem to be enough to convince me that it would.
I'm very open-minded when it comes to new business (I've taken on stuff that noone else would touch, mainly running, but running at a loss, before turning it into profit), but you don't seem to have considered enough 'what if' scenarios.
What is your actual business plan (not just 'some kind of events business', but in a little more detail, what are you going to be doing?)
How much money have you set to one side? I ask this, as you'll probably struggle to make enough to get through the first few weeks and months. This will need to include an estimate for your living costs for 6 months.
What equipment do you need, that you haven't already got? (I ask this, so I can gauge an idea into your next expenses)
Are you looking for bank funding? (You probably won't be able to get this until at least the first 12 months) If not, what other financing avenues have you considered?
Have you drawn up a proper business plan, with detailed financial statements? Are these statements optimistic, realistic, or pessimistic? (You may be best to do all 3) Why do you think this?
I think that this is enough questions for now.

Thanks for your contribution. I do not like to put all my ideas in a forum but the real main activity of the business will be internet marketing and I guess I will try to find some fund for the project : as I previously said in this forum I have the default to be too proud and really do not know how to beg money to people I know (except the government itself :rotfl:). So, now that I start having a better health I would like to find a 'small job' (in a sportwear shop ideally) that could help me to launch the campaign.
At the same time, I am very close to have everything I need for internet marketing except some money for blogging (that can cost a lot).
Presently, I am also focused on trying to actively do networking online but it is a bit hard.
I believe the trick is to not give up presently because that become harder for me.0 -

Getting yourself on the likes of PPH and eLance may be a good start.
What experience do you have in marketing? I know of several businesses that have begun on a shoestring, but marketing a marketing firm isn't easy or cheap, IYSWIM. We also rely heavily on a branding company (in the music industry). This isn't cheap for us, however at the same time, we're using one of the youngest specialists in Europe who is also very experienced, and has found a huge niche in his area, and coincidentally can provide the assistance we need. This is important.
With regard to your blog; is there any chance to run some affiliate blogging as a marketing tool for customers? I know of some companies that have done well from this (and MSE itself, which was built on this, was started with less than £100 and sold for £84m last year), so whilst you may not be looking at amazing numbers, it's certainly worth a go.
I can't help any more, unless I know more, unfortunately.

Frankly, I have until present had not be very successful but I believe it was at 80% due to the fact I was using spun articles (due to my English) instead of my own unique ones (I have to invest some pounds in writers service). Let's say I have around 3 years experiences of internet marketing but never earn any money (but lost more than £3000). I was equally doing emailing but apparently with the wrong strategy : the right one requires at least my own server (with several different IP address) but I do not have the finance for this.CKhalvashi wrote: »Getting yourself on the likes of PPH and eLance may be a good start.

I am not sure what you mean by "affiliate blogging" : do you mean (promoting) affiliate offers? If yes, then yes, this will be the main activities [but I will not have a forum (at least at the moment)].CKhalvashi wrote: »With regard to your blog; is there any chance to run some affiliate blogging as a marketing tool for customers? It seems that someone may have called both santander and natwest and told them things exactly like you are saying here and they have refused to open my business account : the only problem the have now is that they are going to have a proper complaint and request of investigation from the financial ombudsman regarding their criteria of assessment and explanation of delay.
A bank doesn't have to give anyone a bank account, they can refuse anyone they like.
Also no 1 from the forums will have called the banks, I bet whats happened is the banke didnt like something in the application.0
