As before 50p on the entertainment. The other items remain unchanged.
    Got a letter today.

If you've just got entertainment which is the entertainment channels and lifestyle then you shouldn't have any increase, if you can I would ring them up and query this ? If you go on the sky website you can see the new prices.

I, too, remain surprised by this, penrhyn.

We pay Sly £21 a month – comprised of £10.75 for the Entertainment pack (£21.50, less 50% discount) and £10.25 for the HD channel.

We've received no notification from Sly of any increase, the Entertainment pack remains listed at £21.50 on Sly's website and our next bill (which now stretches into September, in advance) remains at £21 (discounted) per month.

Unless you have been on a price-freeze and have been receiving the Entertainment pack for £21 a month, instead of the current £21.50 a month, you should perhaps look into this.

That said, an additional 50p a month is only £6 a year, so, mind you don't spend more than that on checking it out!

Undiscounted, you should be paying no more than £31.75 a month (£381 a year) from 1 September 2013.

Had a look at my statement for this month and it shows:-

    Entertainment 01 Sep - 08 Sep £5.55

    Sky+HD Pack 09 Aug - 08 Sep £10.25

    Entertainment 09 Aug - 31 Aug £15.58

So it would appear that it will work out at £21.50.eventually. I've managed to lose the letter from Sky as well now.
That gum you like is coming back in style.
  • Mine has gone up £2- £1 for the ent extra and £1 for multiroom. Time to leave (again) I think.
  • Hi All,

I hope you dont mind me sending you all a direct message but I was hoping that one of you may be able to help me.

I too signed up for the MSE SKY deal in March/April 2013 but found out recently they never actually applied it. I wondered if by any chance, and it is a long shot, you happen to have the details of the company you called to set up the deal as I remember it being a third party acting on SKY's behalf. Was it the 50% for a year deal you signed up for?!

Anything you can advise me of would be great.

I really appreciate your help and sorry again for messaging you directly.

    Kind Regards
    Mark

You do realise you have just posted on the forum for everyone? No one has had a "direct message".

I advise you to E-Mail MSE staff directly
  • Hi,

Sorry about that, was the end of a long week.

I was meant to put it in the thread, hoping someone has the details of the deal :)

I have contacted them but as there is no number I have to hope they reply, so far two emails and I have heard nothing!!
