So what's the minimum amount a raise has to be before it's considered a "price hike"?
...I always thought that a price hike was an abrupt or steep increase in price...Not sure a rise around the rate of inflation qualifies as a "hike".....0 -
Someone has to pay for the money they spent on the football rights0

Signed up for the deal through MSE in May. Only two months into the special offer and Sky are already increasing the monthly payments. Thought it was too good an offer!0

I hate Sky as much as they hate their customers.
Which is a lot from my experience.0 -
should not affect any customers, only ones who dont play the game and get the discounts sky offer. once your 12 months contract is up you have to threaten to cancel or even cancel and you will get a discount.0

You are 'hit' by a 2.5% increase? This is a news story? This has been 'revealed' (rather than stated as a matter of course)?0
-
(Anyway, where are you getting the 2.5% increase from? The figures supplied in the 'story' suggest a 4.0% increase excluding landline cost or 7.8% increase including landline.)0
-
4.0% increase excluding landline cost or 7.8% increase including landline.
But there is no change to the phone aspect except international call costs so I'm not sure why you have included that (unless I'm missing something)?
As the story says, it's an average. Some will be higher, some lower.
My increase is 2.3% (just based on TV cost) but if I include the landline aspect in the overall cost the rise is 2%.0 -
My letter states that my sky entertainment/enterinment extra will go up by £1.50!!! I cannot work out why mine is different0
