Fiona can you please send a copy of the refusal to give you a popla code to the bpa, I've discussed this with them and they'd like to see what you have been sent. You can either scan it in or photograph it and send it to the address below. Thanks
aos@britishparking.co.uk
Will do. See if someone at work can help me. I think we have a scanner thing. Do I need to send it for the attention of someone specific?0 -

No they asked for proof of this, I have pointed them to this thread on twitter, so they are expecting something. Try taking a picture of it with a camera phone, then email that image to them if it makes it easier.
Many thanks for doing this, we need plenty of complaints going in, I suggest giving it to the dvla and popla as well, just put the address below in the email

Sorry to jump in here im in the same boat as FionaCat. Just to clarify the advice you have given is to send one last letter to highview based on bazsters 'dear scumsuckers' post.
Also, and what seems to be most important seen as highview are being evasive on the POPLA front, complain to:
Store/Supermarket on which the car park is located
DVLA
POPLA
BPA
Trading standards
local MP
I had added all the required email addressed to the above list but as this is my first post was unable to add them.
Stroma I can also send you/BPA a copy of the POPLA code refusal if required.0 -
Sorry only just seen this cereal , if you can send it to the bpa at the email address above that would be great - thanks
Fiona did you manage to get it scanned and sent ?
It will help the cause a little as highview are obviously doing this a lot and we are just seeing a few, there must be loads out thereWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.

Guys - really sad, and a bit mad.
Got a reply from British parking from the address above. They said Highview is right, and I'm wrong. They don't need to issue a Popla based on what you guys said
I'm a bit sad cause I listened to you guys on how to fight my ticket and got it well wrong.
Guess I need to pay now, and it's more than double0 -
What????????? You DO NOT PAY HIGHVIEW!!!!!!!!!!!! the BPA is not a regulator you know!
Please can you show us the reply from the BPA. Trust us, not the Old Boys' Club that represents the scammers!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

No you don't pay for gods sake! The bpa has just proven that they protect the interests of their members first, this trade body is not a regulator they can't force you to pay. Listen to the advice given and now ignore these scamming cretins, they never do court ever. When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you.
