Not sure - I guess that's only 5 hours, so it's worth a try! Just make sure you don't make it too thick so you can pour it out as you probably won't be able to eat it directly from the thermos.x

I get the feeling it's almost August :O
Plans for lunches this week at work:
Monday - left over chicken fried rice and noodle with bean sprouts from today (rice hardly fried if at all - not sure I like the more local Chinese!) Followed by fruit (kiwi and 2satsumas)
Tuesday - not entirely sure yet, maybe noodles or soup followed by fruit
Wednesday - leftover chile with homemade tortilla chips (baked wraps sliced into triangles), fruit
Thursday - chicken salad wrap, fruit
Friday - umm...not sure yet! See how the weather goes.

Our fridge has died so is no longer cold at all really so whilst the freezer is fine we are getting a new one ordered this week - to be honest its been in the cards a while! That means we have to use up as much stuff from the freezer as possible (so the old one can be taken away by the blokes delivering the new one) which is going to mean a lot of random concoctions for my lunches and for my teas whilst bf is away!

    Morning all

Well I was supposed to be having a treat of a Papa John's pizza today with the 99p offer, but the website now says no online orders - so I may be having a tin of ravioli from my desk drawer :(

Took last nights curry and rice into work this morning, but then realised I had a meeting where there's free lunch! Bonus!

Be careful storing the rice if you're planning to save it until tomorrow, especially in this weather!

More couscous salad with feta and chick peas for my lunches this week with a few butter beans on the side.
Luckily I don't mind eating the same lunch every day-there's a lot of it.

Help, I'm in need of a little inspiration. I've been trying to reduce the carbs (and snacky rubbish) I've been eating of late at work so lots of salad, veg and fruit. However I have some left over rice from dinner tonight. What can I mix it with for lunch tomorrow that won't make me feel so carb guilty?

I have a 1hr workout at lunchtime and always come back from that ravenous.

We do have a fridge at work so no issue storing it.

If I have leftover rice,I would tend to eat it heated up with some curry.

I'm not sure if you can freeze rice.

Sorry, not too many ideas for you!
