Thanks. We've just looked at the sola. It still won't fit width ways :( stupid tiny boot.

We bought the Moove in mamas and papas and that fits into my fiat 500. My 207 I had before was defo bigger.

abis/amy don't worry... I'm 36+5 now and I've just got a carpet fitted in a room.. that smells like plaster... and has no doors, shelves or cupboards... or furniture... or paint.

But I still hope the baby likes it, a space of his very own *ahhh*

Other than that, I have a double mattress in my bathroom propped up against my bath, and another room that the door no longer opens into because it is stuffed full of 'things to organise whilst on maternity leave'.

Somewhere in there is the beginning of my hospital bag that is now the long lost of hope of being prepared... I was young once... I was organised... I bought travel size containers to decant shampoo into!!! If only I could find the shampoo...

If anything, I hope my calm and collected message has led you both into hope that it is not too late and there is still plenty of time :)

We decided it would be a good idea to get our bathroom and hallway done before baby arrives ...! The builders started work on Monday.

The nursery is still a computer room for now but has got all the baby's stuff piled up in there.

  • Well I cannot fault kiddicare one bit.

Found item I mentioned at a cheaper price on Monday so sent them the link. They confirmed yesterday morning they'd price match, so I ordered the item around lunch time, sent them my order number at which then had a reply confirming the difference of £15.56 had been refunded.

Get a text message this morning to say my item would be with me between 1:30 - 2:30 pm today. Also had the option to text them back if I wanted the item leaving with a neighbour or for it to be delivered Thurs or Fri if today wasn't okay.

Then I was able to check where the driver was on an interactive map (felt like norad santa tack, hahahaha) as it told me what # delivery I was and what # delivery he was currently making.

Now off out for a late lunch. Definitely can say it will be the last lunch date before baby is here.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one feeling grumpy! Met up with DH in lunch and he really cheered me up, on the tube now and looking forward to a nice rest this afternoon.
Sorry for an 'ick' question but do any experienced mummys know if a show can go all at once or over a few days? I'm pretty sure I had part of it start the other day and now similar with period cramps. Hoping this is it but also need to catch up on sleep!

With DS my show went over the space of a couple of days, but I am pretty sure it can just come away all at once as well.
Exciting for you! Fingers crossed xx

  • Saw midwife today, she felt that on measuring me baby might have dropped off in growth, but then said that might be because he's further down than she thinks. Seeing the consultant tomorrow anyway, midwife is going to speak to her and ask to see if I can get another scan, quite possibly either way will end up being induced next week if he doesn't appear before then. Baby's still very active and his heartbeat was strong so I'm not too worried.
OH took me out for lunch after which was lovely. We figured we may as well make the most of the next week or so to treat ourselves and relax!

How exciting lobey! I had proper cramps last night as well for about an hour while trying to get to sleep, coming in waves. They obviously tailed off though as i fell asleep lol. Keep thinking 'ooh is something happening??' then it stops :(

Well I'm not holding out too many hopes as the same thing happened last week! Good news is that bubs' head is apparently as far as it will go before labour begins, although like Tiny doesn't seem to have grown since my last appointment. M/W didn't seem worried though so only 2 weeks until my next app (hope I don't go that long!).

I have a midwife appointment tomorrow, am excited to find out if baby is engaged now. Was still 'free' last time. Pretty sure he must be at least a bit engaged as he feels much lower, lots more pressure than 2 weeks ago...
