  • congratulations on the little ones born im excited to meet mine now as well.

just wanted to ask is anyone going to take a breast pump with them to the hospital or is that a bit much?

i bought some of those ready forumla bottles just in case there was some reason i wouldnt be able to breastfeed, but then i thought what about the breast pump to express in case there was some reason she wouldnt be able to latch on properly, so at least them she would be getting some breast milk?

or i could probably just get oh to pop back and get it? hmm undecided but i have enough stuff anyway dont want to be taking the kitchen sink as well! :)

my scan went well yesterday, my fluid level has gone up! i think it was more to do with finding a bigger pocket of fluid this time to measure probably how she was laying. bit of a wobble on the monitor as her heartbeat went from 180 straight down to 120 and i was then kept on it for an hour but all seemed ok, it wouldnt be normal if she wasnt giving us some trouble!

also went and got some nursing bras yesterday, they made me giggle they are like a peep hole bra but with a cover, never really looked before at them!
but there was a sale on in debenhams on most things so i got a pack of 2, black and white for £20 so £10 each didnt feel too bad getting them and i managed to pick up a lamaze toy reduced from £19 to £4.95 in the tesco baby event! :money:

So im 7th on the list best get the hospital bag sorted its nearly packed honest!! :D Been having more frequent braxton hicks accompanied by backache and period type aches no show as yet though. So not getting my hopes up. Last midwife apt said babies head was down but free however it is my 4th and the last two didnt engage until late on. Im hoping some of this pressure is baby engaging.

Sometimes i like to imagine that im living on the breadline as a single mum with 3 children to feed and clothe, bills to pay and very little time to myself........ then i wake up and realise im a princess with prince charming by my side and a lovely white castle........ oh wait
  • Congrats on all the new babies :)

I am so tired today after moving house for the last few days! I have booked the day off work to do some final bits and have woken up with a horrible cold :( Back is also really aching now so feeling quite sorry for myself this morning!

Just over two more weeks to go at work though which is absolutely flying by. Looking forward to some lazy maternity leave days that's for sure!

    Hope everyone else is ok.
