I'm 42 now, OH is def not talking about another one!!
On a good night, once by 1.40 then usually 5 and up at 6.
On a bad night.......you really don't want to know. I've had him checked as he used to head bang..he'll grow out of it. That was a year ago, he does still at times.
I also don't have room for 2. He could open his own toy shop!
To be honest I've not had a decent nights sleep since I was 12 weeks pregnant lol at least no killer heartburn now.:heart2:Baby boy madbird arrived 15/06/11 by emergency csection weighing 9lb 13oz:eek: love him so much xx:heart2:0 -
Welsh-cosmic - i think your 35+ weeks not 34
your a day ahead of me and I'm 35+2 (well i thought i was until you made me wonder?)
Still here..... but working on that!0 -
It's so nice to be in the company of other older Mams - I feel knackered this time round! It's my 40th at the end of the month and I can't believe I'll have a newborn. DS (3) isn't a good sleeper either so I am usually up at least twice a night with him then another 2 or 3 times to go to the loo. DS's sleeping habits were a shock to the system cos his big sister was a great sleeper and always needed 12 hours a night from when she was 4 months.... yes I know we were spoiled!
Been having niggly pains like sharp period pains in my low left hand side and back pain all day but the last few days have seen pains start and stop so until I'm writhing in agony I'm not going to get too excited!

Hi everyone...hope your all feeling ok. Welcome newbies and good luck to those in waiting to have their babies!
Boy am I frazzled today...really struggled to the point my work colleagues were asking if I was ok as I was practically falling asleep at my desk whilst googling baby bedding on my lunch break!
Had carpets fitted yesterday. Super pleased...they are so luxurious and bouncy but the carpet fitter was still here at almost 9 o clock last night! Quite possibly the longest carpet fit ever! But he was lovely and did a great job so I can't moan, it's just when OH and I walked in at 7pm from work we thought we'd be putting our bed back up and moving our things back upstairs! My mum and brother even came round to help and were stunned!
Anyway they look fab and tonight my OH has moved everything back where it should be whilst I worked over. Bless him...I can't moan cos he has been a total dream lately..sorting things out at home, helping clean, rubbing my back, helping me get hospital items. I'm feeling blessed because between him and my mum I'm well looked after!
On that note though I can only stand those 2, I'm mega irritated with just about everyone else! I hate my pregnant personality..I'm such a diva!0 -
Oooh iceicebaby, I remember you from last time
Baby must have dropped for me. I sat in the car today and my belly wash squashed against my thighs!!
I'm 39+3, trying to wait patiently, but kind of want it over with now. Although I'm still absolutely dreading the sleep deprivation. And the painful breastfeeding. Just trying to keep busy, making plans, going out a lot.
For those on 3rd + babies...were your labour signs the same each time? I'm wondering if I should expect the same as last time, or could it be completely different.Baby Giz born 6/2/110 -
I can beat you all in the age stakes as I'm 42 & having number 1.
Looked at the liquid iron supplement in Boots - I would have to have 24 sachets a day to meet the dose prescribed! I'll stick with the tablets.
Shattered tonight as had to go to London for a meeting - I live in Yorkshire. Not sure I will make 10pm!

Littleskintdragon - your right!!! Blame it on pregnancy brain.... Getting confused with people asking how long you got and how long are you in work for!!
Pigpen - hope everything goes ok tomorrow!!!
No ones weighed me since my booking in appointment!!! I never weighed myself before and really don't want to know how much I weigh now... My clothes are tight... That's all I need to know!!!
Have done a few bits this evening but have been sat on the sofa since 7 and had 2 custard slices!!! Usually on the go to till 9.... The OH not here for a few days... So being lazy... I wish some one would tell bean that!!!
I think I will get the hospital bag list out... And see what needs doing... And order everything from the comfort of the sofa!!!

I feel so young with all you old fogies
I'm quite lucky with my DD's as they've always slept through from about a year so I really feel for everyone who has a non sleeper.
I'm getting heartburn currentlyor I'm mega mega hungry. Just cooking a BLT in ciabatta at the most

Giz I'm also dreading the sleep deprivation and stress.
I'm hoping that I won't feel the massive sense of disorientation I did after DS was born either. I'm not very good with 'change' and having a baby is the ultimate!
Nice to see some oldies on the thread too. Makes me feel less ancient!Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0
