  • This is truly horrifying

The question I ask is where was Daniel's father?? The boy did not loose so much weight in a week or two. His father must have had visitation rights, and must have noticed that his son was unnaturally thin and covered in so many bruises. Why did he not step in?? The same is true of Peter Connolly's father ... Why are these men turning blind eyes to the suffering of their children?

They go on television and talk to magazines and newspapers saying how much they loved their sons, but seem to have done nothing when they had the opportunity.

You have no idea what kind of opportunity the father would have had so stop making dangerous assumptions.

Daniel's father lives abroad (Poland, I believe)

    So to answer this poster:

    His Father lived in Poland.

He moved back to Poland when Daniel was one year old and hadn't seen him since.

So, no - no opportunity for him to notice weight loss and bruises.
  • the parents are to blame for sure but i also think that there are a lot of pweople who have to look at themselves and ask did I do enough? Not only social services but also police, teachers, neighbours or anyone who saw and heard something, any one who ever looked at that boy and wondered if he was ok then did nothing, everyohne played their part. i think it is not enough that the school just accepted what the parents said and reported a bit they should have reported twice a day every day until someone listened. too many people too afraid to speak up or fight admin rules. people are afraid to get involved. isaw a little boy in the shop who was lost and lots of people looked at him but no one helped him. i asked him if he was lost and took him to the counter so they could call for his mum but what if i didnt do that, what if some bad guy had taken him instead? people are too afraid and we all need to speak up more

It makes me sick to my stomach reading these posts above.

Daniel's story was in my newspaper today and just beggars belief.

These sick scumbags don't deserve to be part of society. In fact they don't deserve to live.

Poor innocent kids. My heart goes out to them all.
  • Lou67 what a judgemental, arrogant, self oppinionated idiot you are. You are the type of person who mouths off about all the wrongs in the world , whilst sitting doing nothing about it. Now i am Levi-Blu s nan. The family that you described as scum basically. Neglectful chavy people. Well for one you did get the fact correct that i have a son called tyler but why for the life of me you presume that a name like lou is superior is somehow beyond my poor council estate education. For your information I named my son after someone who was dealt a miscarriage of justice. In fact it resembles the same as your unintelligent tirade of pure garbage , that you think you are entitled to concoct about my family. Anyway my 16 year old son , TYLER who incidently could read at four and now attends college. My son Kurtis who is 24 and works for guide dogs for the blind and is one of the top fund raisers in the country. I myself am a foster carer for learning disabilities. My other daughter has 2 children. We are heartbroken and may never mend....but im glad im not you. Shame on you.

  • To be honest gik. Its a struggle to get through each day and i have more important things to deal with. Its killed me and it kills me that i cant take away my sons pain.It will affect him forever. Ive lived he aint. My son sees crap that someone like that puts up. How can you moralise when your bullying hurting and traumatising a young boy. He has shown such courage, maturity and im proud to say hes my son. So many detectives and judges...who spout crap and say i would do this ..i would do that. Walk in my shoes. Truth will out. My souls clean

Having never read this thread you have just brought ny attention to the ignorant post by Lou67.....how on earth people associate names with behaviour and lifestyle i will never know...I have a daughter named Ashleigh, Myself or no member of my family have ever lived in LA housing (nothing wrong if they did), all 3 of my daughters yes even Ashleigh have well paid jobs, she works as a Para legal at the age of 21. Another daughter has a friend named Levi, her family own an 8 bedroom house and 3 large businesses in our local town..
So how on earth names can be seen to define a person i will never know! Child cruelty, neglect and lack of education is not exclusive to LA tennants and those who think it is are in my mind those that lack education and shame on their parents for letting them grow up ignorant.
