We live on a hill and the hissing noise some souped up cars make when accelerating sounds ridiculous, and drives me nuts- but the so does the old !!!!!!! in the Volvo who insists on peeping his horn as he approaches the brow of the hil- just outside our house- he just doesn't get it that there ARE two sides to the road!

There was an MR2 round the corner from us that was really noisy, but I think he's grown up now.

The hissing sound is probably their shiny K&N air filter. The Volvo driver is almost certainly an IAM member.

The MR2 is called something else in France, as MR2 = "Em Air" Deux = Merde.
The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life. :)

I'd rather hear a Evo/Lambo/Aston, or anything with a V8 at full chat, than any kid any day of the week, My New office is bang opposite a primary school, and the noise levels are terrible from these sweet little creatures. How can something so small make so much noise.
My own little motor, sings very sweetly at 4500rpm.
