    Glad to hear that ;)

What source for movies do you have in mind? most things downloaded from the internet should just play on the built in player, or download MX Player from the market its is very good at playing any format.

From DVD disks its a bit trickier. (commercial DVD's have copy protection) but its not unbeatable by any means.

Wots wrong with the Google Play store?
They do movies, my Nexus came with the truly awful Transformers staring the well known non actor Shia Labeouf, who is a contender with Hayden Christensen for the worlds worst actor.

There are automated programs for ripping from DVD, not tried them though.

At a pinch I would use DVDShrink to copy the DVD to hard drive, reduce it in size and remove protection then rename the VOB files into MPG's (they are just MPEG2 files anyway) and join them with another program. If needed I would then convert into another format.

Another approach is youtube, surprisingly you can find a lot of normal content, music videos, TV and full movies on there.

Free program youtubedownloader is quite adept at downloading these into directly playable movie files. (also works for other sites)

Just find what you want on youtube and copy the address from the browser to youtubedownloader and let it do its thing.

--- just be careful during install, make sure you untick to install the 'extra' toolbars or other horrible software! ----
