Hello my lovelies.
Still on a high after becoming loan free yesterday. Thank you for all your posts. Hubby and I are off for d meal at one of our fave restaurants tonight. We have a £20 voucher so I am budgeting not to spend any more than another £20. So an MSE celebration!
I need to sort out what money I have left this month. I may take it out in cash so I know what I am spending.
I have £100 a pending going out in my account. I need to find out what it is. There is nothing I can think off and my concern is that ll0yds have charged me an early repayment fee. But would that be automatic the day I paid it and shouldn't they have let me know first??? I asked at the bank about overpaying and she said as long as I left a months payment to come out normally to finish off the loan I would be fine. We will see I suppose.
Other news-
My weekend was great. Lovely meet with my colleague at the pub and spent just 30p over my £10 budget. Then meal at a country pub and a walk was lovely on Sunday with my besties. Spent exactly my £20 budget including a tip so I was pleased!
My next delivery arrived and I have spent £69 on what I kept instead of the £100 I had planned. I ordered 4 pairs of jeans to try- £22, £28, £28 and £45. I kept the £22 ones. I preferred the £45 as they were comfy but then I realised they weren't real pockets so I couldn't carry my phone. So £22 it was. Then I kept a lovely knitted camel and navy jumper for £32 and a plain camel knitted scoop neck sweater for work. So I am pleased.
Plans for today....
Work hard
Girls with hubby at his work until they get bored and they being him to me.
Cereal from stores for lunch
Stick to budget for meal
Sort out last bit of paperwork into relative box files (found a random bag of bills and letters under the stairs)
That's me

Hi Orange Fairy - massive congratulations on your loan being gone!! I bet that feels brilliant!! Hope the £100 pending payment isn't anything to do with the loan, that would be a bit of a pain!
Have you decided what debt you will be targeting next, or is that already decided and happening?
Sounds like you will have a productive day today. I need to do a list. I wanted to get at least the downstairs sorted out and cleaned, so I have done the kids playroom, kitchen and am hoping to get the living room done today.
Hope you get loads done!

Hi Mrs S- thanks for popping by. I am still over the moon. Can't believe it has gone!!!
We will be targeting my next account and hubby's holiday debt next.
Well gone news is the £100 wasn't anything to do with the loan. £40 for bus ticket, £37.50 for paint a pot, £14 in the card shop, £13 for food! So it all added up!
We were meant to be going out for dinner tonight but it was fully booked! So we have a table for tomorrow. So jacket pots and tuna at home instead!

Glad to hear the £100 wasn't anything to do with the loan, that will be a relief for you. I'm sure your next account will be gone in no time, it seems a small amount compared to the loan!
Hope you have a lovely meal out tonight... enjoy!

Thanks my lovelies
The meal was lovely. I budgeted to spend about £20 on top of our voucher and we spent £20.25It was lovely to have some couple time and chat about what holidays we wanted to plan etc.
Need to do it more often.
Big news today is that I have finally booked to go to Thorpe Park with my 2 brothers and my sister. We promised to do it for my brothers 21st birthday present which was last December. We are going in October and it is costing £221 to stay in their crash pad so £73 ish each (the 3 of us are paying for middle bros) This isn't too bad for 2 days in the park, breakfast and a night there. I have paid it from my debit card so I need to get £73 from Bro1 and £23 from my sis as she has already given my £50. Need to get this quite soon or I will be short before pay day
Off to look into trains versus driving. I am really looking forward to it. And coming out of August money means that it won't be a cost I need to find next month like originally planned!
Tomorrow I will work out exactly how much money I have left with and without what I am owed!
A good day overall. Dinner from stores and worked really hard. Then the meal with hubby was lovely! All good in OF land
