Morning Orangefairy and all,
I'm going to pop into Clarke's myself this morning. I'm desperate for some comfy shoes and they have their summer sale on, worth a look.
A quiet weekend planned and my daughter and DGS are coming up on
Sunday, she has some eBay items to list and its easier for her on the iPad.
I shall cook something in a big pot, possible lasagne as we haven't had that for a while.
Off out to post my eBay parcels. Oh I bought a Frank Usher dress in the charity shop doesn't fit me, it was a pound, currently on eBay for £11:eek: and it has a few hours to go. This saving money and paying stuff off can become addictive. Have a good day xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Afternoon all,
I had a lovely time at paint a pot with my girlies. There was a little tortoise crying out to me on the shelf so I had to paint him! DD1 painted skull with a headscarf and eye patch (odd child) and DD2 painted an owl plate. Can't wait to see them on Wednesday. Cost me £37.50 though  But it was great fun and I haven't done too much with them yet so I will not dwell on it too much.
Had a great day at work (well 4 hours). Ironed out a couple of things I wanted clarifying. which was great.
Then we came home and I got on with some house work and cooked dinner from stores. This meant scrambled egg on toast for me and spag bog for DDs.
3 days until I am loan free! woop woop!
Mrs S - my target now is my next account and then my holiday debt. My next account stands at £278 ( a bit more than in my sig) I pay £35 a month which means September will need only a £243 over payment. However I have just ordered some jeans and boots so I will see what I keep. I only have one pair of jeans and a pair of work trousers at the min (along with dresses, summer skirts and one pair of 3/4 lengths) and today I spotted a hole in my jeans  I only tend to get them from next as at 5 foot I need their petite range!
We should have about £1200 free money from September onwards. We need to decide a set amount to overpay at the beginning of the month and then we can see how we go and overpay at the end anything we can. I think overpaying by £700 may be a good target. Then hope we may have another £300 at the end of the month as well.
In Sept hubby might get some money for some website work to the tune of £180 which would pay for DD2's birthday. If he doesn't this will come out of mine so £243 plus maybe £100 next spend plus £200 DD's birthday gives me a spend of £543 out of my £700 free money. This would mean I could only overpay Next in September but that isn't all bad.
Hubby has £500 holiday money to pay off which he is thinking he can pay off £200 in august and £300 in Sept. I am doubtful that he can pay off £200 in august as there is a lot going on and he has just paid for this camping trip which with the site, fuel and meals etc it all adds up. If he can't and we do get this website money is means I have a £200 back up to help him pay it or if he suprises my I can pay it off my holiday money.
I was upset to find out my holiday debt was more than I expected. I have forgotten the £180 spending while in spain and £70 parking all went on there too so it is a little higher. Never mind - just need to work harder!
October may mean we can pay off my holiday debt in full depending on how September goes. Then we will have the £5k cc debt to go but november and december are xmas months which makes things difficult.
I will be pleased just with a £500 overpayment through these months which would bring the smaller one to about £1130 inc minimum payments. The bigger ones will be about £3355 by the end of the year. Jan and Feb should see the end of the small card with about 600 overpayment to the big one which leaves £2.7k
Ideally I would like to get this gone by may as it is my 30th birthday. However this may be too hopeful as this is assuming we don't get a new fridge freezer in the meantime and we don't run into other kinds of trouble!
We will see how we go................................

Aw OF I love Sherman xxx
That loan free date is creeping up!
Pleased that you enjoyed your pot painting. I think it's worth every penny to have some excellent quality time with the kids. I intend spending quite a bit this month. I have lots of free things I can do with the kids, but sometimes it is nice to do something a bit special as well. Thankfully the weather is nice enough that walks, parks and picnics are featuring lots, but I have promised them cinema trips as well £££. I will just have to be really careful not to fall into my old ways - particularly as I still have school shoes and both kids birthdays coming up in September.Ninja Saving Turtle0 -

Morning Wannabee and Bella,
I am glad you like Sherman - he is cool
Had a lovely night sleep and last night I did something a little odd and not MSE.......
I signed up on a childrens story writing course for £12 with gr0up0n. It is a 12 module course with no time limit but I really fancied doing itOn my 101 things to do list I have to write a story so this will help my on my way. I think I will include DDs in the story and have been toying with calling it 'Sherman's Quest' and have it as a little tortoise adventure
Even if the course is rubbish I will still get something out of it.
Right better get off, do some housework and pop to the shops to get a card and some shoe insoles to revive tome old boots xOrange Fairy
