  • Hellooo everyone

Staying with Mum at the moment but hope to pop home this afternoon to try and make my exchange card up so that it is ready for the weekend. I have been telling myself that Saturday is the deadline so that I will still be on time if I over run by a few days :rotfl:

Hope you are feeling better for your trip to York/Harrogate. Afternoon Tea in Bettys is a must in my humble opinion ;). I just love York and Harrogate. :D

Hope your little cat is making a good recovery mos. What a time of the year to encounter such a heavy vet bill.

I have brought my Christmas Cushion stitching to Mums and I got it out of the bedroom once but didn't manage to get any stitching done. Think I was just being a bit hopeful on that one. Resigned to doing a pair of cushions now for next Christmas.

    Take care everyone.

    Hi all,

I have finished my exchange piece - well the stitched part anyway! Did some at my desk today and will mount it on the card tonight once DH and DS2 are at scouts.

Just made a list of bits to take tomorrow to Elstree - I am staying overnight in a hotel opposite the BBC studios. Apparently people start queuing at 3am to get their tickets validated  as they over allocate. I bought a top today - it's red, so if you see a brunette in red, grinning like a loon behind Tess Daly, it could well be me lol!

Hugs to all that need them
    Coxy :)

    Hi everyone,

Had an amazing time at Strictly. We were in the front row opposite the band, and got to see everything really well. It ended up being a 22hr day, as we queued from 245am with the BBC staff coming out at 9am to validate our tickets. Once validated you are guaranteed entry and need to be back at 330pm to queue to get into the holding area. This was probably the only downside, as the weather was dry but windy - had it been raining it would've been a different story.... and they want you to look glamourous! Got out of the studio at 1030pm and home at half past midnight! Will post a still photo in a bit and you will see the back of my head during Len's lens later lol! Keeeeeeep dancing!

I'm so envious of you Coxy making it to Strictly. Not so envious of the early start however :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Looking forward to seeing the pics of all our cards.
