Morning all, just on quickly to post a pic of some cards I have made for my next craft fayre with Mum. It's this coming Saturday and we then have another the following week. It's more about Mum shifting some of the many many rugs, teacosies, scarfs etc.etc. that she's made over the last few years since retirement. She doesn't drive, so with me taking her, it helps her to get out and showcase.
Off to knit & knatter this morning, then the post office later to post my exchange piece
Coxy
Lovely cards. Hope it goes well for both of you0 -
Thank you for sharing the photo nmm, hadn't realised you'd made the hoop as well. So huge well done for that it looks very professional.SPC~12 ot 124

Posted my cross stitch exchange piece today but postman annoyed me, he rushed my parcels through, charged me the same for 5 without weighing them, and aid they were all small parcels, then didn't give me prof of posting for the exchange piece or another he said was a large letter. If it doesn't turn up I'll be livid but if it arrives with excess posting I will complain so if anyone gets a piece but is charged for it please pay but send me the card I will reimburse you but put in a complaint. Having saying all that I hope it arrives safely with no excess charge - I will just be on tenterhooks until my person says they gave got a package.SPC~12 ot 124

OMG, that's awful mrs-mp you'd think post offices would treat customers better seeing as most of them are getting shut down. I hope everything arrives safely.Cross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet:0

Popped home today and look what I found waiting for me on my doormat ... my lovely Christmas card from Maisie. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you Maisie - he is simply adorable.
Isn't he gorgeous everyone?
Loving all the cards so far. Hope everyone receives theirs. What a terrible service mrs-m. Fingers crossed it will all work out for you without the upset and hassle.
Daren't even think about your 3D printing nmm - technology these days just blows my mind. Just bought a chromecast (DS says I will really get use of one). What it does I have no idea - but I will get Christmas out of the way and then I will settle down and see what it is all about :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Brought a little Christmas cross stitch kit from mag down to Mums. Might or might not start it. Have shelved the Christmas cushion for this year.

Lovely cards everyone, especially love Rudolf's button nose!
Didn't sell a bean at the craft fayre, although mum did well - four scarves and a teddy, plus commissions for a tea cosy and 3 pieces of name bunting. We have another next Saturday and then there are 14 dates for next year starting in the spring. I think I need to change tack and perhaps do something other than cross stitched items. They take a long time and (obviously) aren't people's cup of tea 😞
Might look to do some crocheted cushions - have just finished another of Lucy Attic 24 designs - solid granny squares - to recover a couple of rectangular pads I have. Will post a photo shortly.
Hope all are well.

Morning all
Beg your piece from Madrid is just lovely. What a cute little reindeer.
Coxy your piece from beg is lovely, I always think dark adia really pops the stitches out. Lovely stitching beg.
Nmm love your card from fos, it looks so happy and cheerful. Beautiful work fos.
Coxy sorry your craft Faye's aren't going well. People who don't craft have no idea of the time or skill put into it so aren't always willing to pay a reasonable price.
Working today but still need to finish stocking, have a cross stitch I need yo start for one of the boys hopefully to finish in time for Christmas haha, I love keeping the pressure on myself don't I.
Anyway have a lovely day all, I'll pop back in tonight.SPC~12 ot 124
