Ha ha think we swapped weather, I live 10 mins from the sea and there's been a mist creeping in since lunchtime!
My garden gets full sun all day during the summer, I have a seating area and use a large sun parasol over me so I can stitch....however I would say stitch with caution, as
1. The sun can fade your threads
2. I got badly burnt last year even though I was under the parasol nearly all day, I was so engrossed in my stitching I didn't always remember to adjust the parasol along with the moving sun to keep me in the shade!0 -
Thanks for the words of caution
Last year was a scorcher though, I work outside so had a t-shirt on all the time, I've still got the tan lines although they are more red than tanned

Also DONT use a magnifier on your pattern outside in sunshine. I read a warning in a mag that someone set fire to their pattern when the suns glare shone on the paper through the magnifying glass and set it alight!!!SPC~12 ot 124

I stitch outside nmm, as long as you are aware of the hazards it's alright. I'll own up to forgetting the sunscreen, I'm currently sporting one red arm from knitting in the sun for too long todaySPC~12 ot 124
