    Hi everyone,

Loving the pics. I haven't been posting but I've been reading along. I've ordered and received the threads I need for Sydney, which will be my next project. In the meantime I've started knitting a cotton sweater for myself. It's the first time I've knitted something to wear, previously crocheted a scarf but that doesn't really count lol! Going well so far.

Off out today for Dads birthday with the whole family, best get dressed :D

    Have a good day all.

    Hi Girls,

Sorry I have not been about for a while been busy with work and got little stitching done as coming home exhausted.

Need some cross stitch advice here. As you know I belong to a small stitch group (the embroiders guild) and we are having an exhibition - I am attempting to frame some of my own work and wonder if it looks ok - can you have a look

I am just worried it is squint - can't afford to get them all done by a framer - I am going to mount my one in memory of mum but get the framer to the frame can't afford to get them to lace and frame it.

    Thank you

    sweetcarer ;)

    Morning all
Hope things are OK with you and yours BEG. Hugs if you need them
Good wishes to all and hope everyone is alright. Hoping to get some stitching time soon.

Thanks MrsM. I'm fine just haven't had the time to pop in much lately but I have just read all of the March posts ;).

Lovely pics as usual everyone. I see leopard now has spots nmm ;) and the colours of the little teacup are gorgeous Mrs Ceejay.

You are tempting me with your roses Lancs Lady - wondering which wall I could display them on. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

What can I say about HAED Air jamsponge - but WOW. Looking forward to seeing it grow.

Even though I have been busy I think my stitching mojo has gone for a bit of a wander. :( Have told myself that I haven't to start anything new until 'Thank God' is framed and a birthday card I made for a friend is made up. Even though they are not needed for a couple of months all of a sudden the time will be here.

Received the first issue of WOCS the other day (replacement for CS Card Shop) and I must admit I don't think there was one thing that jumped out at me to stitch - perhaps it was just me.

I have a cross stitch sampler which is done mainly white stitching on white evenweave with bits of metallic through it and I might consider doing that once the lighter nights are here. It's probably totally different to how I remember it :rotfl:

Need to get a wiggle on as we have to drop B-i-L's anniversary card off, call into Mum's and get back home for tea. At least it's an easy meal - lovely hm broth nom nom.

Will try and make an extra special effort and keep up with you all.

    Happy Stitching

Hi guys update time again :) Not much done on the leopard this week, but i'll post a photo anyway :rotfl: I made a card for a friend leaving work, I used evenweave for the first time and used my compass cutter again for the aperture :j Plus like coxy my other hobby of crochet took up most of the week, I'm making this lovely bag which I thought I could never manage as I'm self taught from youtube, but I've completed 1 side by actually following a pattern :D Would love to see what your making coxy.

    Anyway Cue the photos :p

Doing well today - second visit to the Cafe today ;)

Sweetcarer - lovely colours on your Spring Sampler. :T

Nmm - Fab pics. :T Leopard to coming along very nicely and the good luck card is ever so neat. I take it the compass cutter is for the aperture (sorry for my thickness :D). Your little bag is lovely too. :T

My little needle case is finished,I have a birthday card to do but it's not needed for another month.

The leopard is coming along, taking shape.
I like crocheting but my tension is very erratic,so sometimes it works but I can do the fancy stitches but not necessarily in the right order.

Yup beg the compass cutter is for making the circle apertures, its great and if the card is too thick then I cut it on both sides which works :) this is the one I have clicky

Love the needle case mrs ceejay :)
