Thank you for all your kind comments
Sorry to hear so many of us are having a tough time at the moment
Love all the exchange pieces x13 in 2013 challenge 9/130 -
Sorry for keeping you all in suspense waiting to see the lovely coaster I received from Maisie. The light here had been dreadful most of the afternoon and each time I tried taking a pic, it was just full of reflections. So I will apologise now for the rubbish pics.

It is really lovely Maisie, thank you.I have it sitting on the little side table I have at the side of my sofa and stitchy stuff
.
Thanks for organising the 2014 Exchange fos. You are a star :T
Your pics kez are fab too :T I love the colours you have used so far - looking forward to seeing next update and how the design is revealed. Little fella is so cute. :T Did you not fancy taking part in the Exchange - maybe next year eh (no pressure)
Got lots to do on lappy tonight. Hopefully will get everything sorted by 10pm so that I can settle down to watch the Apprentice when DS gets in from work. It must be getting close to the interviews now - I love Claude, one of the interviewers (I think that is what they call him).
Bye for now

The coaster is lovely :T
I received my subscription copy of Cross Stitcher on Monday and with it was a letter saying that Future Publishing had sold Cross Stitcher to Immediate Media (publishers of WOCS, CrossStitchCrazy, Cross Stitch Gold and Cross Stitch Card Shop).
I know there have been mixed opinions on here about Cross Stitcher but I really like it and hope this doesn't herald a significant change or closure. There is probably not room for all of the XS mags these days..............
Have just googled and this business deal was done in May0 -

Not sure how well you can see that it includes lovely sparkly thread with the white
That was the pattern I seen on pintrest, found out it was an American magazine - asked around facebook and some one sent it to me free - I am thinking of recreating it and sending them it too - it probably be late for Christmas but its the thought it counts. It isn't all white threads, there is blue and its a shame photos don't show up the sparkly threads or beads. So glad you liked it.
Have you noticed alot of our exchange cards this year is Christmas trees!flowerofscotland wrote: »

I have not had a letter (only sub to cross stitch collection now) but I did notice in my bank debits a couple of weeks back one set up for immediate media and I contacted them and they said direct debits will change next year, they are in the process of contacting people and didn't realise they had set up the direct debits so quick.
Talking of magazines - has anyone noticed the poor quality of paper in cross stitch collection recently.
Hope all are keeping warm - I am on the cusp on finishing my work piece, so might have photo for the weekend.
Kind wishes to all

The exchange sounds like a lovely idea. Though I need to concentrate on my current project list as that's been waiting for work for a while.
Having been away this week I have done no crafting, but I hope to finish my remaining squares so that I can start the next piece of the project.0 -

Evening everyone
I finished the snowman family this evening :T:T
I'm hoping to attached it to the canvas frame tomorrow morning so hopefully I'll be able to upload a pic this weekend.
Not sure what I'll do now, may have a few days break....or maybe not :rotfl:0 -
Well I have posted the lovely coaster I received from Maisie on Flickr and also the card I sent to Coxy. Do I have to add them to the Exchange 2014 discussion as I cannot figure out how to do this - sorry nmm.
My head is 'in the shed' today - must remember to thank DH and DS for sharing the lurgy with me - its still in the early stages and I would rather it came on now fully so that I can get it over and done with before 25th.
Coxy - your little girl is gorgeous. Have you got much more to stitch.
pm - looking forward to seeing the snow family on canvas. It looks a lovely jolly pic.

Hello everyone
Hope everyone is well and keeping warm.
I have now finished the stitch I do at work. It is the final part in the set of three - will have to get them framed up and they are to go in the bathroom.
Part 3 of 3 the blue year.
The other two parts were done in 2012 & 2013 - also done during my lunch break during work, some of you may remember them.
Part One
Part Two
Putting them all together I notice a wee error - see if you can notice it - will put it right before I frame them. Need to remember where I put the others - I got the frames in a sale Sainsbugs had during the summer - so hopefully they fit ok.
Kind wishes to all,
