Well done on your bargain,a few years ago I was into a teddy bear phase and I saw this kit and I so wanted it but it was expensive even then, looking foreword to your pictures.
I don't normally do cute stuff but I saw this stitched up at a friends house and HAD to have it! Don't know when it will be started as I have two WIP's at the moment which is unusual for me. After buying no stitchy stash at all last year I'm making up for itflowerofscotland wrote: »Framed If I stitch fast using a frame from a charity shop (£1.25 = :money:)image by stitchyfeather, on Flickr
I buy nearly all my frames (and pretty much everything else!!) from charity shops. DH says I'm a second-hand junkie, I love the thrill of the hunt.mrs-moneypenny wrote: »hope everyone is well, ive just read on the weather we are due a mini heatwave next weekend so plan for stitching in the garden everyone.
Ooh I do hope so. We have the Sweeps festival in Rochester this weekend and I really don't think my brothers Australian fiancee has ever seen anything like it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Cross Stitch Cafe Member Number 44:rudolf:Cross Stitch Is For Life Not Just For Christmas :rudolf:0 -

Aww, they're gorgeous!! I'm so jealous. I really miss having a cat, but my Labrador chases cats so it's just not possible. Before I got the dog I always had cats.

Looking great Annie! How are you finding all the grey though? Think I might struggle without having a bit of colour to stitch. I think it will be stunning when finished.

Wow, you've all been busy little bees!
Mrs_T_M, I especially love your little bear. S/he's adorable!
nmm, I'm looking forward to seeing more of your cat pattern. Reminds me of a ginger cat we used to have, he was such a little sweetheart. I still miss him, especially the way he used to cuddle up to the warm air vent on my laptop while I was working, so I'd have to keep shoving him away a bit else he'd make it overheat! :rotfl:
Emily, your wedding sampler looks lovely.
FOS and Ali, the framing on your pieces really sets them off.
Lovely updates from you, sweetcarer. Your learning sampler is so pretty and I love the colours in the twisted band pattern.
Aww, lovely cat pic, JCS, they look very comfy! So sorry to hear you lost one. Your current stitch is coming together nicely.
I'm another wanting to know how you're getting on with all of those greys, Annie? My next project will be quite samey for colours, I suspect I'll be going cross-eyed trying to do it.
As for my current project, all of the cross stitch is done on my irises, so just the backstitch to do now. The stitching in the border and around the "beauty" symbol is in chartreuse and is really hard to see if it's not in daylight, so I'll be trying to get that done during my lunchbreaks when I have lots of natural light.
