Sat on the doorstep in the sun just watching the bunnies for about 45 minutes. I do feel a bit better, just sleepy now. Might make another cup of coffee and try to finish the bunny stitching. Have someone coming for some milk bottles for their allotment soon, so I have to at least stay inside until they come (our bell is broken thanks to the guys that installed our new front door... the same guys that denied slicing our phone line the same day).0

Hi everyone,
Warning - mahoosive catch up session!
Firstly though, I wanted to send Mrs_T_M a huge (((hug))) Sorry you're feeling so down. Take care of yourself xx
beg - love the finished 'ewe' design. I'm off to Ikea tomorrow - will check out the frames.
JCS1 - the finished kitty design looks great, you stitched that really quickly!!
MaisieM - the terracotta pot cards are great. Where did you get the pots from?
*BigBird* - your feng shui irises are coming along great.
nmm - not long now for BD! I love the remembrance fields design. Dreams of Atlantis would take me AT LEAST 10 years lol. I too love those hoarder programmes - makes me feel a bit better about the carp we have here. Amazing how it accumulates, but I do have a regular purge :A
Ayeshalush - wedding sampler looks fab. Lovely colours on the cat design too.
*Louise* - HiNice to 'see' you back. The lizzie kate kids design is very apt, particularly during the holidays
The keep calm design is wonderful, fab coloured fabric.
Emily926 - very sweet wedding sampler.
HappySocks - Hi and welcome to the thread. Hope that some stitching will prove therapeutic - I know that I can lose myself in my stitching and it helps enormously with my anxiety. Please post updates pics when you can
sweetcarer - I love your purpleworks - I hadn't seen those before.
maria - love the 'readers' design - very cute
fos - great update on your lizzie kate design. I have been looking at her website - too many designs and not enough hours in my week!
mrs m-p - well done on your cs haul :j:j
Took DD and DS2 swimming last week - flumes and pool. They only lasted an hour before wanting to come out so didn't get much stitching doneHave been knitting some bits for church, so progress on the stockings is slow. I have set myself a target of the end of April to finish though - hopefully this will motivate me.
Have a super day all

Didn't take the time to stitch yet like I wanted, but I did get to rip out the carpet, underlay, and tack boards in the room we had picked out for the nursery. It will still be a nursery one day, plus focusing on something is really seeming to help at the moment. We have permission from the landlord to do whatever we would like, so I've also taken down the curtain rail and roller blind. Going tomorrow to pick up the paint for the walls, and I'll go later this week to pick up paint for the trim, ceiling, and floor. I wouldn't paint the floor, but it's nasty particle board, and the tiles I'm wanting to put down won't stick to it without a coat of paint over it!
I'm also planning on hanging a few pieces of cross stitch suitable for a nursery in there once I'm finished painting and such.
I still don't want to finish Dale's little sampler. Not only does it still hurt, I think I'd go cross eyed at the moment due to the greys in the tatty teddy!0 -
Hugs MrsTM, i can understand that that is a difficult piece to stitch so dont force yourself, the time will come when you feel able to do some work on it.SPC~12 ot 124

I'm loving everyone's updates
Hugs to Mrs_T_M I hope you're feeling a little better today, though I know that emotions can be very up and down after a loss. Take good care of yourself and come back to your sampler when you feel ready.
Your sampler looks lovely, Emily. Is it for yourself? If so, you got married on my birthday
I'm another that loves hoarder programmes. There's a certain morbid fascination at how people live like that, especially the ones that don't even seem to have somewhere to sit down. Plus it makes me feel better when our house is a bit of a mess (a pretty permanent situation with 2 little boys trashing it at every opportunity), as it looks immaculate in comparison.
My Scarlet Quince chart arrived this morning and oh my word it looks complicated  The vast majority is in blended threads, there are lots and lots of colour changes, and there's 12 pages of it. It's a good job I have 4 years to do it! It all seems very daunting at the moment but I will get together everything I need for the first page of the chart and just give it a go. It's a good job I like a challenge as this is certainly going to be one.You can do anything, make anything, dream anything. If you change the world, the world will change.0
