jcs not sure that the temptation of the finished article outweighs the idea of Russian instructions and tangled threads ....
What do you think of this?

Is it wrong to say I don't like his hair :rotfl:

Don't think I can face the tangled threads, will probably pick up the blackwork angel I started about a year ago and never finished.

One of my kittens has gone, hit by a car. Been kind of expecting it as where we live the road is very quiet but then you get a fast car, but still sad.

    Take care all x

Emily - your lady is coming along a treat. I hope your scan went well. I don't think I can add to FOS's comments re the magazines.

Coxy - your flower is really pretty, the beads make an impact on it.

FOS - your alphabet is lovely and I agree it stitched up really quickly.

JCS1 - sorry to hear about your kitten. I have to agree that I'm not keen on the man's hair either.

Tricksie - some wonderful finished pieces. I particularly likethe storage jars.

Off to do some work now. Working a split day as had to take son to hospital about his wrist. Have to go back tomorrow evening for an MRI scan.

I didn't notice the hair :rotfl:

    So sad about your kitty

Blackwork would be a nice change
  • FOS - alphabet - Really like the colouring and everything.
Louise - University - I did a OU introduction course. I can only say that you should be sure you can spend the time they say you need to on the course. I found it a challenge as I hadn't studied for a long time. But the tutor was brilliant and gave me loads of help. If you are keen on the subject, give it a go!
Mags Cat titanic - I laughed at that!!
Having got my stitching mojo back I am now carrying on with a Lizzie Kate design for my niece and her partner who have had a beautiful baby girl before Christmas.
    Happy stitching all. X

Thank you, the scan was great. DH is convinced its a boy but we didn't find out!

Sweetcarer - Love the journal cover, I hadn't thought of doing something like that.

JCS - Sorry to hear about your cat :(

FOS - Alphabet is great, it didn't take you long! Thank you I have signed up to the mag subscription, just need to remember to cancel the DD now!

Coxy - The beads really set off the design. I've never used beads before.

Tricksie - I love the labels and pin cushion.

Hope everyone has a good day.

I will never be as speedy as Louise. The Cats one was finished before Christmas just hadn't photographed it hand Lemmy only took a couple of days.

I must admit to being quite obsessive about cross stitch though and even after a ten hour day at work can't wait to sit down after dinner and start stitching. Normally do about two hours a night but have been off work this week so done a bit more.

Off to Sandown Park tomorrow for the stitch show :):):) Or Cross Stitch Crazy as DH calls it!
