beg - my thoughts are with your and DH's family. A tough time for you all.
Not been on much as have been stitching 5/6 cards completed so will post pictures when all done.
Loving all the updated and projects people are starting.0 -
Not much stitching for me this week and the weekend stitching time was consumed by mending and alterations ( and not even for me)!
I did start a new project on 1st Jan (something I like to do most years). It's Stitching Row by Bent Creek. I've had the chart for a while and used some hand dyed aida and some over dyed threads from my stash I've also found some small bobbin buttons I will attach at the end

nmmBD is just that - beautiful
mrsmp. Thanks for the link to the text converter. Just need to remember what text I wanted to stitch. Banner looks great
jcs. Alien lamb photo made me smile. It's always a sign of spring when I start to see lambs in the fields. Though it has been so mild that our hazel is covered in catkins already0 -
nmm - lovely progress, and that close up really shows how much work you have put in.
FOS - I like the look of that, I seem to be drawn to designs with phrases/alphabets and swirls these days
I've spent a week on my new project - will post a progress pic tonight now that there is some progress on itCross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219. Hi, can I join in please? I used to post a few years ago but lost my stitching mojo after I had my DD. I have recently got it back and have promised myself that I am going to keep it up!
I love all of your work, I'm still a bit of a novice and still learning.
I'm currently working on a dolly mamas project that I had started and have vowed to finish it before starting anything else! will try and post a pic in a bit.DD born 14/12/11

Welcome back. Babies do have a habit of disrupting ordinary life don't they. Hope number 2 doesn't have the same effect. Are you going to stitch a birth sampler ?0 -

Beg, your niece is in my thoughts and prayers.
this is the text to cross stitch converter i use http://www.stitchpoint.com/eng/tool/alph/cross-stitch-writing-tool.php I'm sure it was Chickywiggle who suggested it.
i hope everyone is well, sewing machines coming out later to try and finish off the hanging and make a dog bed for DD1s new puppy
As well as the text conversion there are some nice designs on there and I ended up buying this one http://www.stitchpoint.com/eng/shop/prod/thanks-pdf-alphabet-blues.php
Alphabet blues to make a cushion. I've got linen and threads in my stash and the chart was paid for out of my paypal balance so it doesn't feel like I've spent anything :rotfl:
Still haven't remembered what text I want to convert.0 -
i like that fos
the text will come back to you at a silly time like 3am, or when you are thinking about something else.SPC~12 ot 124

They sure do! I think it mainly went wrong when I went back to work and my DH went on tour for six mths (both Army) in the same week  No plans for that to happen this time so fingers crossed all will be well!
My idea is to stitch a wedding sampler (been in my mind for ages) and matching birth samplers for DD and new baby. The plan is to display them in a three aperture frame. I won't let myself buy them until I have finished one of my WIPs though, it's my incentive to stick to it!!DD born 14/12/11
