Nice surprise though the selection looks a bit too floral for your taste. The baby mouse design is cute
Haha you know me too well :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Louise - love your colours design, so clever and so useful.
Emily - The dolly mama's are fab aren't they. There are so many of them I would love to stitch.
Fos - love the colours in your 'stitching row' as I like beige and brown's. I also like the alphabet blues one you have bought.
OH went up in the attic today and 'found' a crate of mine which is fully of cross stitch stuff. I thought there were a couple of bits up these but not as much as he brought down. I even found little boxes to decorate with a bit for the x-stitch in the middle - guess I am going to have to learn to decoupage as well!!!! May do a couple for mothers day if I can get myself organised in time.0 -

Well girls got the news we were dreading on Thursday evening to say that our neice had passed away. So haven't really felt like posting but just thought I would take time to catch up with you all.
tricksie - love your word 'bobbinating'. Think we will have to add that one to our own special vocabulary. Got tons of bobbinating to be done during 2014
nmm - love latest BD update. Good luck with your new group. Pity we all live so far away as I'm sure you would have a load of new members.
Coxy - just noticed you are reading Philomena. I've read it and would be interested to know what you think about it. Looking forward to dvd coming out in mid March I think.
fos - just spotted your Stitching Row. Looking foward to seeing your updates.
Emily - welcome back. Love Dolly Mamas pics - always bring a smile.
Louise - love your DMC colour chart. Will make a brilliant cushion. Had to smile (sorry) when I saw your flowery gifts - was it a bit like a booby prize for you? Think I have done the Edwardian Lady ones in the past.
Mrs Ceejay - great progress on the dinos. When were they needed for?
Well my Family Tree Stitch looks exactly the same as it did when I posted a pic last week. Have tried to get it out a few times during the week but it just hasn't happened.
Take care everyone

These are the little elephants that took the best part of2013,those greys nearly drove me crazy!i have decided to make it into a cushion rather than a picture0 -
Lovely work ladies. I wish I could make such smooth stitches but no matter how slowly I stitch they look lumpy.
You may need to untwist your thread every now and again? There isn't a magic trick to it really, just being careful with the tension and letting the thread unravel if it gets curly.
It's been one of those weeks where I haven't felt the pull to do much stitching, but Craft Morning at church yesterday 'reset' my urge to stitch. 3 hours of unadulterated stitching bliss, plus the opportunity to catch up with the project of the others.
Sunday Update:
