    Hi all

Sorry not been on for a few days but have been hectically busy and absolutely no stitching time at all. Now got the last of my xmas pressies so I will start wrapping them tonight and then Mum and Dad can take them tomorrow when they come for a visit.

Nmm - happy birthday for today and hope you have a good one.

Coxy glad you got your exchange piece, looking forward to seeing it whoever manages to post it.

Right hubby is doing dishes, DS2 is trying to drink his water from a teaspooon (rather unsuccessfully :rotfl:) and DS1 is upstairs minecrafting with his pals so guess I had better get the wrapping paper out. That's bound to distract DS2 as he is like a cat with wool when he sees the Christmas paper, scelloptape and ribbon.

    Hello Girls,

    Hope you are all well.

Sweetcarer - your summrr sampler is lovely and you've finished it really quickly.
    .

I did, didn't I. I think it is because I want to get all four done by end of year.

You are most welcome Ailsb - makes up for the very plain exchange piece I sent you - I don't make cards so had no embellishments etc. - mine looked really dull compared to all the others :(

Enjoy cub camp - stitching by bonfire-light?? :D

    Coxy

I agree with someone else - all have done so well in the exchange pieces - all very different. I only used embelishments as I didn't think I could do french knots with plastic canvas.
I don't usually fall in love with cats tricksie but these ones are so cute. I bet the people who are going to receive them will love them too. :T

So we have another 20 years for the next one fos? Don't know whether the eyesight will still be good enough to stitch by then. Oh my goodness - just worked out how old I will be then

    Have a lovely weekend everyone.

I do like the wee kitty cushions too.

Wow 20 years - I will be nearly retired hopefully. Then I will have long days of stitching, oh I hope my eyesight holds and my hands. Wonder if we all will still be here chatting in the cafe :)

Will do an update photo of my learning sampler tomorrow - can't seem to locate the camera.

    Good night stitchers

    sweetcarer ;)

    Tricksie
The cat cushions are great,I have a dog at the moment, but I have always had cats in the past, and so you can imagine how many cat x stitch pictures I've got but there's always room for one more.
Strong winds here so hope everyone is ok
    Good night all x
