Afternoon/evening ladies...
My cat's ok but he's such a mummies boy it gets a bit wearing...he doesn't like people so he won't go near anyone else hence all attention has to come from me...he's a nervous wreck if someone knocks at my front door and will find the smallest place to hide. He's been known to try and hide in the gap under the radiator in the kitchen as the fridge is right next to it, thing is only his head fits so everyone can see the rest of his body there's just no head!:rotfl:
Anyway, update time for panda, I seem to have managed a fair bit this week but think that had something to do with the extra few days off work

This week: (excuse the orange tinge, main light is on in living room)

I'm going to have a bit of a break now as head feels a bit muggy, need to eat something I think. If I'm up to it later may do a bit on the xmas exchange piece.
Happy stitching everyone x0 -
The weather is horrible this evening so I am so glad I don't have to go out tonight. I had to nip out to the garage to get the washing in from the dryer and had to change my cardi when I got back inside as it is raining so much !
I've got tea in the oven so once I've eaten, dishes are done etc, I shall sit down and stitch. I don't know what I will stitch yet ..... I'm quite looking forward to starting the free reindeer kit that came with WOXS so might sort the threads and do that.
I'm a bit cross as there have been lots of changes to the bus service I use, some of which only came into effect today - I've been studying the timetable and unfortunately the bus I'm most likely to catch home from work is going to mean a 12 min walk at the end of my journey which I'm not looking forward to if the bad weather we have been having continues and won't be ideal if I have shopping.
Have a lovely stitchy evening all. I think its just Homeland/Family Guy on tonight so hopefully stitchy time in the meantime0 -
Hi all
just done a mammoth catch up so apologies if I don't recall all that was
said.
Rhaben - the reindeer is so cute and it's amazing to have started off as 21 flat xstitch pieces.
Coxy - Flower shop is amazing and Santa Clothes looks fantastic frames. I really like the border colour it brings out the stitching so well.
Nmm - wow BD looks like it is almost finished and is stunning.
Shelly - love the colours on the Rose Garden
Mrs Ceejay - the dinosaurs are amazing, my sons would love them.
Mrs MP - the tinman is lovely. I really like the 3'd effect. Love the idea of you making a starter pack for your friend's DD.
Ailsb - hope you had a lovely time in Paris
MOS - stocking is looking great, can't wait to see the final finished stocking.
Hippipal - congratulations on your new grandchild
Ruth honey - oooh off to look at the dictionary of coffee as I love coffee.
Louise - when I looked at WOXS I did think I had seen the coaster cards somewhere before - well done
PM2326 - the panda is really coming along.
I haven't done any stitching this week as DS2 has had a really chesty cough and I have been up several times a night for the past week and am almost sleep walking during the day - not the best for stitching. Hope to get some done this week now he is doing a bit better.0 -
We had a bit of a wasted morning - got the car all loaded up to go to a boot sale this morning and when we got there there was only about 4 other cars there! That was 5 mins before the start as well, so we weren't paying £15 to try and sell to a handful of people.
Have had a nice evening stitching though, got the first of the 6 requested names completed - 'Ava' (yeah I know I started with the shortest one lol) and just about to start 'Olivia'
Mother and Child has taken a back seatHoping she will still be my 11.12.13 completion though.

I know it's been a little while since i posted but i'm still here. Been busy on my pirate ship, but still have to finish the final page of cross stitch before i start the back stitch. Still, at least it is starting to look like the end is in sight!0

I am very tempted to switch the alarm clock off and hide from the world today (doze/drink tea/stitch instead) sadly I'd better not. so normality it is.0

Coxy - just spotted Santa's Clothes whilst having a catching. Its fantastic. :T
luckycat - when I read your post re wedding dress and allotment a pic popped into my head of you up in the allotment in a beautiful wedding dress and wellies.Hope you had a successful weekend.
pm - still loving panda :T
mos - backstiching makes such a difference. Looking good.
Stitched the little reindeer fella that came with WOCS over the weekend (not made up).
Still cannot decide which one of two to stitch for exchange piece - so I have started one and going to see how it goes.
Good luck Louise with getting Madonna done for your 11.12.13 finish. I have left a little bit of the Nativity to finish on that date.
I must have spent an hour on this bloomin laptop trying to get caught up with everything from the weekend and just realised I'm freezing.
Oh well got to dash now. Will try to pop back in later today.
Take care everyone

In for my weekly catch up, hope everyone is staying safe and warm through this grotty weather
So I'm still on page 2, and I'm still enjoying it a whole massive lot. I think my progress is very slow, so I've had to post 2 photos to compare progress lol.
